Let me tell y'all something... I remember being a little girl watching this in the living room while my mother was cooking... I don't even think Robert knows the anointing he has within himself... But I remember seeing this and crying... I didn't know what was going on but it felt good... As a little girl y'all.... And when I tell you the Holy Spirit was right there with me in that living room I mean it..... This is when I knew how much God loved me and how He'd never leave me... And He still hasn't left me yet.... All through this brief moment of praise... Thanks to Robert and Howard... I still come back to listen to this in my moments of feeling defeated.... This episode in particular!! It doesn't come through listening to the song alone.... And whenever I listen to it, that same spirit visits me...

The bigger story here was Howard Hewitt's recovery from drug addiction which is where I think most of the power of his song offers. I was at the House of Blues in LA Howard was scheduled to perform. The sound system went out. Howard came out and sang his entire show, including this song, acapella. Best concert I have ever been to. That's for sure. Howard said, I'm singing, don't worry!!!!! And he did
