Very nice! And I think I speak for all of us when I say we are very appreciative of Yar Wang....for doing such bang up job... I am sure there is a lot of...pppp....stiff competition in the field... but clearly Yar Wang stands (ppppphhhh) high above the rest. I will never cease to a have a 10 year old's sense of humor!
Nice and short introduction of this siglent PSU, my compliments. Like the relaxed way you are talking. Due to some other reviews of the spd1305x of siglent, together with the non protected setup of the third channel of this supply, my oreference would be using two spd1305x units with the advantage having 60 Volts in series and 10Amps in parallel. My question here: do this devices support smart series and parallel control over ethernet or wiil they work fine together if both devices are setup with the same Voltage/current, specially for parallel connection to deliver 27 Volts and 10 Amps? Keep up the good works here, I enjoyed this short introduction!
It looks like Riden RD6006. I would expect something like Rigol sitting next to it. Especially for that price point ( no numerical keyboard). Yes, banana plugs have been replaced. What about banana plugs spacing is it standard or still that weird distance? What about TO220 still flapping in the breeze? What about caps, has been replaced for something more trustworthy? Last thing is why they are no using. External sensing as it was standard on old power supplies (HP, Agilent). Btw that rigol looks beautiful.
I think the reason that RIgol/others don't get the software right, is just to create yet another selling point. The reason I bought my Siglent scope, was because of the functionality/fit/finish compared to the other scopes. The Rigol and others looked and felt like some Fischer/Price kid toy, whereas the Siglent looked and operates like a Tektronix. BTW - now that you have enough power supplies; are you ever going to work on a motherboard or a video card? Lotsa those rolling around that are needing repairs, and someone to give insights on how to work on them would be breaking ground. There isn't anyone that does that Kev; can you roll with that? Try?
The hardest part of getting into work like that is most the time it is a bad BGA chip. They can be hard to come by. Also the equipment to re ball and do it right is a bit beyond my budget and space here.
@@The_Active_Region Yes. However, not every gpu needs replacing. Most often, they need a reflow. You can do that. So long as the gpu is OK; then it is fair game - no? But what is missing from YT is anyone who can explain the troubleshoot process for these kind of boards. That is your strong suit; the details of explanation - just saying. Filling a niche can be useful . . .
You're not subbed to Louis Rossmann's Channel? MacBOOK!!!!!! PPBUS-G3H! and all the other Rossmann-isms. You want to learn Macbook, board level, repair then Louis is your guy.
@@Spector_NS5_RD Ummm; no? I know who Rossman is, and I've watched his stuff. But he doesn't say enough about what is going on and explain things well enough. Kev does - tho . . .

OBS in the 21st Century? You can get an external 4k audio/video recorder that you plug to your computer HDMI output (and plug the recorder’s HDMI output to your monitor if you want). Because it is an external hardware device, it does not affect your computer performance in any way.
I have 3 jobs. 1. Repairing electronics. 2 Making UA-cam videos 3. My full time job. What UA-cam pays me is a joke. So to answer your question maybe 10%
I did a review of the X-E a couple of years ago, your viewers might find it useful as it has basically the same unit: ua-cam.com/video/MwSO9cu5c1o/v-deo.html

I am not sure. I have not used the supply in that configuration before. Maybe someone will chime in in the comments. Thanks

If you worried about all that then just buy an HP for much more.
You played the unwrapping shot twice. Nice supply.
Ah thanks I'll have to fix that.

what type of fuse did you use? (I'm also in the US and will be using it at 110V). Just wanted to buy it in advance.
