Hi Shawna! Thank you so much for all you do to help us in our Etsy businesses. The only thing that does make me nervous is that if you have a lot of sales that come through, that we have to have a way to cover the cost for the print on demand. I just assumed that when you made sales, that Etsy takes their part, then pay you and then you pay for the products. I truly enjoy creating shirts, but I don't want to get myself in a bind trying to pay for products that I don't have money for. I also don't have any credit cards. Can you explain it more in detail about that whole process. I hope what I said makes sense. Thanks for clarification!😊😊😊😊

Here is a trick I learned - not sure why it keeps happening. But every time I go on vacation - I turn off my discount sales and run everything at full price - being sure business will drop. WRONG - every time this year I've gone on vacation and turned off sales - business increased!?! Don't get it - but my best friend who is a realtor said it's a well-known trick in her biz. She said if sales are slow - go on vacation and suddenly you'll be busy! By the way the girl who had 60 sales in a few hours from that one listing then 200 sales the next day - I am soooooo jealous!! Happy for her of course - but God would I love that!

@@Acestlaviee No I never put the shop on vacation. But the few times I went on vacation I turned off any sales and everything was full price. I did that so I could be slow and enjoy my vacation. But it had the opposite effect. And it happened 3 times - so coincidence? No clue.

I’ve been listening since I started my store back in November last year. It’s been a slow start for me but I’m finally happy to say I got my first sale yayyy🎉 Ty for keeping my going and posting it gave me hope I used your calendar to which really helped me stay on track.

Your videos always motivate me. I've been feeling quite discouraged lately due to no sale consistencies and life issues but I'm trying to get back on track. Side note, do you use any ergonomic products for working? Recently, my tendonitis on my wrist came back up because I've been creating a lot of designs.

Geez I'm so excited for Q4. I am listing about 20 items each day, and I am fully immersed in all things Etsy when not listing!
That quote is essentially my mantra. I opened my first POD shop last week (already have two digital ones) and it feels like a verrrrry slow start where most would give up, but I am learning to live with the discomfort because I know that "this too shall pass" and something great is on the other end. Thanks for always giving me the courage to design and list every day no matter the current circumstances.

I'd love a video on the topic of how to handle stock issues during Q4 and how you best navigate them (is it using automatic order routing? manually switching to Printful like you mentioned and how? setting your listings to only show available items?). I'm really nervous for that stuff as I head into my first Q4.

GetVela.... They normally have a free week trial, which you can get lots done in that time.... Then if you continue with it, there are different price tiers.... None are too expensive and save a ton of time 😊

do you find that doing the one day sales w the count down or the Etsy event sales - (like Labor Day or Cyber week Etsy event sales) are more profitable?
Hi Shawna! For the business credit card, if you choose Sole Proprietorship, what did you add under these sections: Authorizing info - did you put "owner" for this one? And for Business legal name & Desired business name on card, do you just put your first and last name?

Hey there! Yes! I have done that many times when it has made sense! ANd if toe of them go together as a couples type of listings you can do that too!

18:35 you can sync new orders on printify same as printful. I like printify better because I'm not double taxed. last I remember prinful collect tax even for etsy orders where etsy already collected tax. kind of a deal breaker for me when margins are already kinda low for shirts.

Have you had any issues with group family shirts where colors come out differently because the items are different? I assume just try to make them come from the same print provider at the very least?

Thank you Shawna for addressing my doubts ❤ ❤. Just want to let you know that with your Q4 resources, my listing went up from 40+ to 170+ now! But still, with 0 sale. But i found myself becoming more “hungry” than before. I no longer doubted on anything im doing like before. I’m more confident on my design now !! Currently try to figure out the root cause of not getting sale. I was thinking is that 0 review (or social proof as you mentioned in your other video) play a big part in causing the 0 sale… What do you think Shawna?
Are you getting traffic? Remember, even a super pro like Shawna gets a conversion rate of 2-4%. That meant out of 100 people that visit, only 2-4 convert into a sale. Given that you have no social proof yet, you can expect your conversion to be lower. Study other listings, especially other cards besides mockups and think about how they are helping a sale to happen. Success leaves clues!

Hi Shawna, I want to use Printify but I'm confused on what to do when ordering things from different print providers. Like say a customer orders a mug from Spoke Custom Products and then a sweatshirt from Swiftpod. Won't they arrive in separate packages at different times? Should I just go with Printful?
