I really appreciate your videos which has resulted in my purchasing 3 products based on your advice. I have a question on the Fiamma hand rail that I purchased recently. I am hoping to instal it myself on my Jayco Eagle camper trailer, but did your bolts screw right through to the inside wall of the camper itself, or to the inside cavity of the panelling, in which case I would have to remove to bolt it on? Hi George, unfortunately you will likely have to source a new handle/latch assembly. If it's a 2013 or newer they are readily available. Unfortunately pre 2013 is getting quite difficult. The latches used on the pre 2013 are a Eberhard 6000 series which you can source from the US however it can be hard to get someone to post and the cost does add up. I have been meaning to touch base with 1 Key Caravan to see if they can come up with an aftermarket solution for the lock barrel however haven't quite got that organised. I feel it probably won't work at this point as there isn't enough depth for their barrels.

I feel that the plastic cover is to stop outside door grime and water getting on your bedding when it's folded.
