Angelina has had an uncanny understanding of what her voice can do and the simply mystical ability to make it do what she wants it to. Her impeccable musical taste allows her to give us to give us what she hears in her head. And it's always beautiful, even when she was little more than a toddler. 😎
One of her best work is her covers of Rhiana's Stay or Lana del Rey's Young and Beautiful. You will love them like most of her fans.

When I heard the song, my first thoughts weren't--"oh what a wonderful voice" but..."oh god at her age she wrote and arranged this song.what must be going on in that highly intelligent head?" Her voice is just the icing on the cake. what's really amazing about angelina jordan is her wisdom even at her age. and her musical and lyrical genius. i'm always looking for reactors who don't judge her voice but the whole angelina.angelina is namely a genius in many areas.

This original song reveals the many layers that make Angelina a thoughtful, wise and sincerely caring person... Your reaction focused mostly on her voice. There's no question of the talent with which God endowed her. In this song, however, where she tells us who she is, well... I believe He saw she deserved that special talent... Not only to marvel at her musical prowres but what we hear comes from her heart . And in other covers, she flies fearlessly, without a care, and all the confidence in her gift. And we're happily along for the journey!! What a lovely soul she has!!!

Norwegian born Angelina began singing at the age of one and a half, and by age three was listening to jazz and classics legends on repeat. Influences include Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Diana Washington, Adele, Frank Sinatra, Amy Winehouse, Lana del Rey, and many more. Her grandmother was her greatest influence, but Angelina chose her own path. Her first studio performance was at age 7, singing I Who Have Nothing. She won Norway's Got Talent at the age of only 8, singing old time classics from Billie Holliday and George Gershwin, and became the youngest ever vocalist to win an international Got Talent Show! She also went viral on America's Got Talent the champions in 2020 with her unique version of Bohemian Rhapsody. Angelina sings in English which unbelievably is her third language! She is a true prodigy.
She is now 16, and has recorded a huge library of songs, including covers and several originals. A major attraction to Angelina's music is the emotion and attitude she conveys, although she has not experienced the life events! She is known as the barefoot princess of 1,000 voices as she can adjust her tone, style, and register for any song or genre. She was signed by Republic Records over a year ago. She is not widely promoted yet, however, as her family has decided to wait until she graduates school, so she has a normal childhood. Why does Angelina sing barefoot?
When she was 6 years old, she was in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own shoes and has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She is a special individual, and one you cannot follow without developing an emotional bond.
Angelina penetrates hearts because she is humble and has compassion for humanity. Her stated goal from childhood was to sing for the world and spread love and peace. Love the texture in her voice on this one. Other than a couple of warbling runs at the end, this was pretty straight tone. She has lots of other tools in her vocal toolkit, but unlike so many young singers, she doesn't overdo it and try to show them off all the time. Rather, we see her use them here and there, more sparingly, and in places where they accentuate the feeling of the song she is singing. Her choices of where and what to do are almost as impressive as how she does it. So, yes, her actual voice sounds like a much more seasoned and older singer, but her musical sensibilities are exceptional as well. If she is any indication of the future of music, we are in good hands.

It's such a wonderful slow jazzy song and with her voice, the piano and the guitar, it is just so beautiful and I feel it to the bones. The message indeed is very relatable and I really love the phrase 'maybe life is a memory, we come, we see, we go.'

Very happy to see you go directly from Bohemian to this first original from Angelina. Most take a while to get to this one, but it is such an important video in her library IMO. Having written this song at only 11 years old (or younger), it is a good sign that Angelina is not going to be giving us songs about shallow subjects. Not only does she ask a question as deep as "what is life", but the way she answers that question is also very telling... music, family, love... these are the things she finds important in her life. This kid is so genuine.

Great reaction! I've subscribed! All of her released originals to date are -- "What Is Life?" (age 11); "Oslo" (age 11, about her hometown); "Shield" (age 12); "Million Miles" (age 14, after the loss of her granddad); and "7th Heaven" (age 15). Two other songs, which were composed especially FOR Angelina, are "Song for 'A'" and "Above the Water' (EDM-style song). Hope you'll react to all of these as time permits! She has stated that her soon-to-be-released album will have new originals which have never been heard!
