I happen to be proud of my organizational psychosis in GemsFlow! 🤣 I even track shipping and tax costs! I have issues. 🤷🏻♀️ I love the tag questions, keep them coming! Also, I agree with Steph...that’s Washi tape.
On one hand, I would be fascinated to deep dive on those numbers and stats. On the other, I absolutely do not need to be personally victimized by an app informing me how much I’ve spent on my stash. So...
I’m gonna have to find some washi tape in this print 😆
You are not alone I also happen to track that stuff if I have the info 😂😂😂 my OCD brain can not take not having the stuff tracked for my own peace of mind

Oh gosh, me too! I can’t imagine trying to stay organized without GemsFlow. It’s so useful!

I honestly think it's going to be pretty when done I am following on IG and it's early but looking at the carousel it's really pretty I think the sky looks better as you go. That just my opinion and also I am working on a massive painting and I think it's better as it goes. Hope your finger feels better. I like listening to you but I also like to learn more about the people I listen to so I'm good either way. Thanks for sharing

Girl I am really liking the way your JW pic is looking! I think you are just too “up in it” to see how pretty it is. Just my two cents. I looked at my Gems Flow app today after adding in my new DAC I ordered. I’ll be at 75 paintings total! 😳 I’m cutting myself off!!! 🤣
Thanks Randee! I think you’re probably right, and I’m just struggling with being up super close, and then attempting to take decent pictures of this giant thing 😂 But I’m glad to hear you’re liking how it’s coming together! I can’t wait to see yours 😁
I checked after I recorded, and including the kits I have on the way, I’ll be at 75 exactly, too 😬 I need to figure out the logistics of de-stashing.
I love when I’m referred to in these videos, idk why, it’s like my brush with fame. 😂 (I still maintain that’s washi on your finger.) 😂😂😂
I always feel like this odd mixture of respect for your bravery and concern for your sanity every time I see you work on this piece. I did say on IG that I can kind of see what you’re referring to where in certain areas, so many colors can muddy it, but I haven’t noticed it in anywhere important (mainly in the sky) so I don’t find it anything to be too worried about.

According to my tally on IG, I have 70 in my stash - with 2 on the way and 1 preorder - so no judgment here!! I have been worried that I’ve messed up the count somewhere along the way so I may be getting that GemsFlow app one day so I can enter everything in (and maybe try to rearrange this mess!)

I often question my sanity, even when I’m not working on this canvas. It’ll really be a problem if I ever decide to get another, or one of the giant HAED blank canvases.
Get GemsFlow!! Oh my gosh, I’m so stressed at the idea of having 70 kits but not having a log 😂 But you do you. I would totally accidentally buy the same kit twice if I weren’t careful.
@@DiamondsandWashi I’ve had that same predicament and have had to wait until I got home to check my stash before purchasing before. 😂

I have similar answers to the tags lol. I found it through ads and ignored it at first. Started on Amazon but my first good quality licensed kit was from DAC (though mine was island time). My favorite kit is also from distracted by diamonds, I haven’t done dawne yet but my favorite is night vale. I share the top 3 favorite companies. Also the number of kits I have uncompleted is 63. I see what you mean by the Josephine wall kit being a bit hard to see but I think it’s coming out very similar to the original and it will look great in the end!

In terms of this canvas, i do wonder if the amount of colors actually muddies it up more. It's such a beautiful image, and I've enjoyed watching you work on it

I like watching people working on square paintings while I work on my dac (round) I prefer square diamond paintings alot better then round diamonds
My son does the same! As soon as something new touches his lips he’s shaking his head and spitting it out. He’s very dramatic about it.
These dramatic kiddos! I mean, at least they tried...ish? 😂
There are a few more people who document these canvases on Instagram @rOmilly is one of them and she’s pretty far along on hers. It looks great so far! And she has bought more, don’t know when she will start those.

I mostly bought cross stitch items for Black Friday, but I did buy a kit for Lindsay’s theme in January, I hope it comes in time 😊
I love the images from distracted by diamonds but shipping is over $50 for me, that’s even more expensive than DIYmoonshop, so can’t 🥺

Ooh, I keep thinking I’d like to try to get into cross-stitch. Where did you order your Alice kit from?? Even if it comes a little late, you don’t have to start on Jan 1st, at least!
And that’s a bummer about the DbD shipping - that’s super pricey! 😕
@@DiamondsandWashi I ordered from the diamondpaintingfactory.co.uk. It’s a willowing arts painting. I originally wanted a painting from treasure studios art, but that would take too long. So another time 😁
I love cross stitch, it takes more concentration than diamond painting so I I like to switch it up. December has a focus on cross stitching for me.
I only got The Beast from DAC because I am 100% in love with Beauty and the Beast and the disney princess I related most to was Belle so I had to get The Beast and apparently it was not even supposed to be released until today I guess. So that's the one I HAD TO HAVE
Oh my gosh, Krystal, I keep going back and forth on The Beast! I have Belle so it feels like I should get him and pair them up, but I don’t know that I’d love working on The Beast...I’m not sure 🤔 I assume you have Belle?? Can’t wait to see you work on them!
@@DiamondsandWashi I actually do not have Belle and apparently they don’t have it on DAC anymore. Forever in my heart and Mad Kitty are actually my first DACs I’d love to find the Belle DAC though

If a canvas arrives now that I would like to work on later on in the year (winter time), will it save well or should I work on it within a month or two? I'm still really new to diamond painting. Thanks Katie :D
Hi Angela! I'm sorry for the late response. If it's a poured glue canvas, it'll keep for quite a long time! If it's a double-sided adhesive, those can be trickier. It's best to hang those flat once they arrive, and to keep them away from any heat/cool vents to minimize the temperature changes. But no, you don't have to rush to work on your kits right away!

Hi Lucero! Unfortunately, I don’t. It was from Jim’s Handmade Pen Shop on Etsy a few months ago, and he buys his blanks from a variety of websites. I haven’t seen blanks like this one in stock since I got mine, I’m sorry!
