People do care for both USL pro leagues. Cause they showcase clubs from states that even the big 4 leagues won’t touch. And also be more independent and not depend on other clubs to prop them up like a certain reserve league posing as a pro league. Looked over on their channel and the views for of the highlights for opening 3 matches for them are way low than the ones for USL Championship and League One.
The winner of the US Open Cup qualifies for CONCACAF Champions Cup. So only if a USL club won that, could they go. This would be the year to do it too since there are only 8 MLS teams
And also USL > MLS Next Pro. Lmao their highlights of the opening matches have low views. And they think changing names of the reserve clubs will make em look more pro. Seriously San Jose Earthquakes are now The Town FC and LA Galaxy II are now Ventura County FC. And San Jose is trying to takeover Oakland by moving their reserves to the Oakland area. But the Roots snagged the Coliseum and could lead to them building their stadium there.
Is the USL doing relegation/ promotion this season ?? If so then I’ll pay more attention. MLS is 🚮, if usl does promotion & relegation then it would make them way more interesting
Not this season, but I believe the league was supposed to vote of something in the next year or so(to talk about promotion-relegation), I also believe they were trying to add another level below league one to make it 3 total🤷♂️. Btw VAMOS LOCOS CHINGAOOOO GIVE 8th a dub on Saturday😤😤
I think they’re holding off. They want fan support for the new clubs to build up. Can’t just jump into it and risk attendance dropping. When teams like Central Valley can’t sell out a 1,000 seat college soccer stadium that’s not a good look. They may come back to the idea but need to build up first.
I love this league. The USL Championship is an exciting league for the states.
Yeah it is & it’s continuing to grow

I love this league. Last weekend I watched 3 matches at once on my tv, iPad, and phone. I want this league to grow
