I have never seen what is termed a UFO, but I did have a very strange experience. Sometime in the early 1970s I was driving north on US 41 from Naples, FL to Fort Myers after dark. At the time 41 was a two lane road with no lighting, and it ran through undeveloped land. At one point the car I was driving just stopped running and the headlights went dark. As it happened, there was a car driving south at the same time that had just passed me. That car as well stopped running and the headlights went out. I got out of my car and started to walk back to the other car and met the driver walking in my direction. We talked about the "coincidence" of both of us having the same problem at the same time. We decided the only recourse we had was to wait until some other traffic came by, flag them down and get a ride to either Bonita Springs or Ft Myers. We each went back to our respective cars to wait, and like all impatient people I tried to start my car again - and it started. I laid on the horn to alert the other driver, then noticed his tail lights in my rear view mirror, so obviously his car started as well. We both continued on our way, but to this day I am still confuzzeled over that incident......
I have heard of these kinds of incidents before... my perspective would be its flux in the local magnetic field from cosmic rays. Enough to temporarily mess with your electrical systems but not enough to fry it.

Sometimes I think about alien abductions when I watch Vet Ranch. They go to the pound and get a dog that's injured, bring it back to their clinic, treat them, and then find a forever home. That dog must be like, "Why am I in a cage?" "Who is this person and why are they putting me in their car?" "Why are they sticking that up THERE?" "I know they took me out of this new cage, but I don't remember how I got back in here, and what is this thing on my neck?"
The Hills' account came out shortly after a popular alien story that had aliens matching their description. It was a nothingburger.
Maybe the aliens matched the description because that’s what they really look like.
By identifying a UFO as such, it becomes a FO. And if it lands, it's just an O.

this young lady is very good at narration she should do some stories on audio if she hasn't already, it's a very pleasant voice and she's straight to the point we need more people like this doing audio and video.
Here in McMinnville OR we celebrate the photographing of an UFO in May 1950 just outside of town. Alien Days will happen this year, as most years on the weekend closest to May 15th (day the photo was taken).
I think I mentioned this somewhere on YT before. My family saw a UFO - what would fit the ID of one. I was a child; we were returning from grandmother at night. In plain sight, a HUG object, almost fitting the classic description of a flying saucer. The only difference was the upper part was square and lighted up. The lower part was a dark silhouette against the night. It was spinning and hovering over a 2-story house - right over it. It almost seemed to be TRYING to be seen. Before cellphones so, no pictures. Other cars did stop to see it, too, though.
I am also aware that we lived about 30 minutes, by car, from an air force base. By air, maybe 5 minutes. I do know, looking back, too, that the lower part might have been nothing more than a dirigible. The upper part may have been an experimental remote control. That's more believable than thinking little green men were hovering over a house to scare people.

2:06 Thank you. The most important fact about UFO's is, just because someone says they have seen a UFO does not mean they are crazy-talking about flying saucers, Martians, etc., it most likely means they have truly seen something they couldn't explain.
I was on a rural road near the border of NY/CT late at night when I noticed an odd grouping of lights in the sky, roughly in the shape of a "4" above me. They didn't move. I got out of my car and stood in the road, watching. Not near a town, airport, or anything that could have caused this grouping of light. Eventually I got back in my car and drove off. The lights stayed above me for a while, then moved on.

One night, when I was about 9, my family and I went outside and saw something glowing in the sky. It was a dark night in the backwoods where we lived, light pollution was practically nonexistent, and the stars were beautifully bright. One "star" in particular caught out eyes. It was so bright, at first we all thought it was Venus. It had a slight green tint to it, and was brighter than venus (which happened to be behind us). We all watched the sky for what felt like hours, but was probably no more than 30 minutes. Then one by one, everyone went inside. I stayed out, and was the last person remaining, still watching that glowing star. Suddenly the light, which had been still this whole time, began to move. I watched as the light turned into what looked like a huge, slow moving, green fireball. It flew/fell/drifting directly overhead without making a sound. Within 5 seconds, it was gone. I half expected to hear a crash or residual sonic boom, but none ever came. I can't explain what it was. Probably, it was some kind of shooting star that coincidentally lined up perfectly with some other aerial phenomenon. I was the only person to witness it, so nothing can be verified, but whatever it was, it looked like nothing I've ever seen before or sense. It looked like some kind of structure, and it shot out green fire as it tore through the sky. This was summer of 1998.
Weird that this video doesn't mention the videos the Pentagon released... or the Phoenix Lights from 1997.
Thing is, only one report needs to be aliens, that's it, for it to matter.
If the orbit of Pluto were the size of a quarter, the next nearest star would be more than a mile away. I want to know why creatures would violate the fundamental laws of physics (FTL travel is impossible unless you're a photon, because pushing any amount of mass past light speed requires an infinite amount of energy) 30+ trillion miles to shove metal rods in our asses.
That is if you are unable to remove mass from the equation or if there are more physics we have yet to discover. Quantum and subatomic physics are relatively new... and we still don't really get it other than cause-and-effect. Classic physics was all we had for a very long time.
Space expands faster than the speed of light, so there will be a loophole in there somewhere we can exploit. We can already manipulate atoms and subatomic particles, it's only a matter of time until we can do so with the fabric of spacetime. No need to break the laws of physics when you can manipulate them. We don't understand gravity, and gravity warps space and time, so if the key to superluminal relativistic motion is anywhere, it's there.
@@NeonVisual True! And what about if you could breach the fabric of the universe and re-emerge elsewhere? Wormholes are one option but since we don't know of existence outside or universe, or even the nature of existence, we have no idea if we can simply take a shortcut.
@Terra Firma it would probably be more like deleting space in front of you and creating space behind you. Then the craft is propelled by spacetime itself in the same way that dark energy is causing the expansion of space to speed up. Nature is already creating new spacetime with expansion, that's why we can see 45 billion lightyears in every direction even though the universe is only 14bn years old.
@@NeonVisual That is quite true, but who knows really? I was bashing Star Trek: Discovery's new jump drive concept but honestly we don't know what forms of physics could exist that we are unaware of.
I was a kid when Project Bluebook was TV, it was entertainment. I was a young adult when the tour bus I was on encountered a UFO and we turned off the Hume Highway with a few other cars/busses/trucks ... until we hit a private gate at the end of a long road. We were at a restricted military base and accidentally followed a helicopter with a massive lighting rig under it. Kinda like Close Encounters, but with chicken wire and obvious disappointment amongst the people. It was some roo-shooting rig. $0.02
No matter how good resolution gets you can zoom in so far that you get a fuzzy blob of some unknown object. There will always be fuzzy blob UFOs.
Jimmy Akin's Mysterious World has done great episodes on several of these events.
For the Washington Flap there were multiple witnesses who saw the 'blips' (they described them as lights). Also one of the pilots on the second weekend was at one point surrounded by the lights and didn't know what to do.

It is real and yes they have done that.
I and my family and neighbours regularly see metallic orbs which have been documented in the local and national news. The strange thing is that they are only ever seen on very clear days without a cloud in the sky. Many local people have videos of them taken on mobile phones.

@@laras678 you claimed that you have personally seen these things regularly. I would like to see what you have seen. But yes even to this day with literally everyone having a camera we still don't have a high definition photo of a space ship.

All types of aliens are demons. I have a story: In 1979, when I was twelve, I was hanging out alone in a school playground, sitting on a swing. My family was moving in the next week, and I was enjoying my last time at my old school. No one else was around and the sun had just gone down. The night was clear and I could see as many stars as the surrounding light from the suburbs allowed. I then saw a disk-shaped craft in the sky, about thirty feet across, and about one hundred feet above the ground. I could see it as it blocked out the stars and had soft, multi-colored lights briefly shimmered around its edges; I remember yellow, orange, red. And by brief, I remember only seeing them a couple of times and they weren't bright enough to draw attention without staring at the thing.
It moved slowly, almost deliberately. I strained to listen for an engine, knowing it wasn't a helicopter or a plane. I remember wondering if it was a blimp, but it didn't have any lights that would indicate an oblong shape and blimps have propellers. It was too big to be a hot-air balloon (which never flew in my neck of the woods, but I should mention it) and it didn't have any flame that such a balloon would have. This craft made no sound, utterly silent, as it passed directly over me.
I watched go over and then behind me, just over the treetops at the back of the playground and the neighborhood beyond. If hadn't looked up, I wouldn't have seen it. In fact, I hadn't noticed it until it was nearly over me. I didn't tell anyone until decades later, mostly because I wasn't interested in people telling me what they thought I saw... or maybe how I was mistaken or not observant enough to see what it really was. But, like I said, it moved slowly and I was a pretty precocious kid. I didn't freak out, but studied it. It wasn't anything I have seen before or since, and I think if it had been some secret military project in 1979, we would have seen some evidence of such things by now. I can't say it was aliens or time travelers or some weird, unknown sky animal -- but it was unlike anything I have seen in the four decades since.
Where did this happen. It earily similar to somethin I experienced when I was around 14. I think it was around 1974. We lived in Richardson Tx in some Appts a few blocks off US 75. Which is now Centrap Expressway in Dallas and runs to OK. Me and about 12 kids including my sister were playing hide and go seek in the woods behind our Appt when a round saucer shaped Craft came right over us. It was just about dusk. So we didnt just see lights in the sky. We saw the craft. It was I'd say around 1000 ft above us moving slowly to the north. It had multi colored lights also. And the thing is. Thousands of people had to of seen it too. Cause 75. Is a major Highway thru there with lots of houses and buisnesses along the way. But I've searched online and cant find any info about it. But we all ran in the house and we called the police to report it. They said their phone was ringing off the hook and they had contacted the Airforce. And been told. The Air Force was testing a new type of Aircraft in the area. And that's what we saw. We were just Kids so we thought. Ohh. No Biggie. I also didnt talk about it for 20 years or better. But one day I was driving my truck and heard about the Stevenville UFO. And I got to thinkin about our experience. And it came to me pretty suddenly. We dont have that kind of technology today. 40 years later. That thing was floating across the Sky and making no noise. And if it was top secret aircraft. Why would the be testing it over Richardson Tx. So they lied to us on the phone. I even called my Sister and asked if she remembered when we lived in Richardson and we were playing hide and seek one night. And she said. And we saw that flying saucer. I didnt want to lead her on so I just asked what she remembered about that night. And she described exactly what I remembered. So. I believe you saw what you said you saw. They are real. And I have no idea where they come from. But it sure ain't from around here. Lol. I'd like to know before my time here is gone. But prob wont.
@@markblocker6690 Wow, that's awesome. My experience was in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I, too, researched stuff like this decades later and found nothing quite like it... and there's not much to be found on the Internet about such things in 1979. There have been reports of silent UFOs, but nothing that looked exactly like what we saw. I guess it's possible someone saw the same thing, but described it differently or remembered it differently.
I'm also glad to hear you didn't mention it for decades -- maybe for the same reasons I did. People who have never seen something like this don't really understand how unearthly it is -- just big and completely silent and unlike anything man-made. It wasn't just a light in the sky; it moved right over me. I'm a logical guy with a logic-driven job and don't believe in what I can't see. What I don't understand is how people who see things like this are attacked. I'm a skeptic, but not a denier. How can we learn new things if we reflexively deny people's claims? The witnesses deserve respect. Sure, lots and lots of UFO reports are silly lights in the sky that could be utterly anything; those reports are a hard sell for me. But what you and I saw is clearly something more. Maybe it was man-made, but since I haven't seen anything like this in the past 40 years (and you'd think the military would love to have a silent aircraft), I have to think there's more to this. Some 20ish years ago my parents hauled us out on a road trip that included the roswell area. It is somewhat near the US border with Mexico and there were immigration/drug checkpoints -- stop at the booth, answer some questions about where you're going and whether everyone is a citizen, get your car sniffed if the officer thinks you're sus.
One of them had a sign advertising its successes: X pounds of narcotics intercepted, $Y value of those narcotics, Z illegal guns... and the last line, ALIENS REMOVED: 1962
We circled around and got out to take a picture with the sign. We had to pass through the checkpoint again and the officer was doubled over laughing, waved us through.
My two favorite UFO stories are the Phoenix Lights, and EBE in New Mexico. The Phoenix Lights were in 1997 and seen by thousands, with pictures and video. And EBE was an alien that crashed in New Mexico, and lived among humans on life support for several months. He shared many stories from his home planet, and then died from his injuries. 😱
You know, if some massive ship was decelerating as it approached our planet, it would look like a spark falling from a star and then growing to the size of the Moon at least for a little while. Oh and, the Japanese were floating balloons packed with explosives toward the US as well. What crashed in New Mexico could have very easily been part of that program and the reason it was classified was more than likely because it was early stealth technology and difficult for radar to pick up. It would have represented a severe national security threat without ever needing to be Alien.

I honestly don't know what to make of all of this evidence. Obviously there is things going on. The fact that all of these incidences have different circumstances is pretty much the reason why we don't have a straightforward answer on the topic. Obviously, if all UFOs were the same and had the same origin then it would be pretty easy because then there would be some sort of consistency. But the consistency is that it is inconsistent. That being said, I feel like there is more that we don't know than we do know. Otherwise, I personally have had incidences where I and other people have seen UFOs here in the Bay Area, back between 2009 and 2011 there was this very weird UFO that kept popping up locally that a lot of us saw that was this huge triangle that had lights on all of the corners and a few on the underbelly, but it was able to move forward, back, side to side, obviously from a grounds perspective I don't know if it was able to move up and down but all I know is we were watching it for a while and I even ended up calling my friend in the next town over and they could see it as well. Then it just shot off quicker than I've seen anything move. That happened around 3 or 4 times then I haven't seen it since then. Then, back in 2014, still living in the general same area, I was walking to the store from my house and as I was walking I noticed some neighbors across the street, there are six of them three women, two kids, and a dude, they were all looking up at something in the sky and pointing and looking very confused so I looked up and saw what they were looking at. There was this intensely brilliant orb in the sky that was glowing this brilliant orange-ish peach-ish pinkish colour and it stays very stationary in the sky before zipping to multiple areas of the sky, the only thing that I can compare it to is how fast the first time I saw something I couldn't explain in the sky but, it was completely different looking. Whereas years prior the giant triangle was huge this was a very small size in comparison to the first object I saw. But still it zipped around with unfathomable speeds and then just shot straight out of sight, not to the left or the right just straight up and that's when you could get a real grasp at how close it was. Still, to this day, I really don't understand what I saw and I don't know what to feel about what I saw. I just know that it is really weird and I still don't know what it was to this day.
Just because you look up and don't know what something is doesn't mean it's an alien space ship.

UFO is not an acronym, at least not how you're pronouncing it; "yoo-foe" is the acronym.

i consistently refer to the phenomenon as U.F.Os rather than the acronym, my comment is not meant to discourage or fault the use of it. i mean to make you aware of your apparent misconception of an acronym. after all, this channel has a history of addressing misconceptions.

Moving at 3000 miles an hour and then abruptly taking a right hand turn and flying away at 10000 miles an hour is not a sensor glitch or a misperception of what you're seeing that is a thing that literally stops and turns and flies away I'm not saying does anybody on that craft but I'm saying that that is a fine thing that is to find the known laws of physics

The closest I got is I was driving home from college on I-20 near Fort-Worth ~2008 when I saw a super-bright light in the sky, it appeared stationary, I was surprised at how bright it was so I was watching it for a little bit before I realized I wasn't watching the road, I glanced back to the road and back to the sky and the object was completely gone with no sign of a plane or anything else.
There is also an incident ~2016 where two human looking women came into my room waking me up, I jumped up screaming and backed into the corner, they without jumping came onto the bed and asked me to calm down (and somehow I did) which they then took me under the arms and started to take me. I asked how they got onto the bed without jumping and they said they levitated, I asked if they were angels they said no they were Eternals below angels but above humans, then suddenly I was in a brick building where I was laid down and eventually given sodium pentothal and interrogated before waking back up in my bed. They seemed friendly. Would like to meet them again.

I always believe the Hills story is legitimate because Interracial Marriage wasn't fully legalized in the US until 1967 - 6 years after their incident. It's possible it was legal in their residential state, but why would they bring unnecessary national attention to their marriage by making false claims? Not to mention Betty describing a yet-to-be-discovered star system. The whole story is fascinating and I think they were telling the truth.
She toured UFO conventions until the 1980s and made a good living out of this story. Not entirely without lucrative benefits.
