Absolutely love your videos and your work. Your headshots are amazing. My husband and I are both in Photography and enjoy your content. I was so pleased to get a notification that you had a new video out. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and ideas. Looking forward to your future projects and adventures.
Thank you so much Amy!! This comment made my day. 😊
Exactly my aproach only I do it in Lightroom. Nice tutorial!
My pleasure, thanks for watching!
How terrific. Love that you are teaching me to use Capture and the secret to improving Acros.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you! I rely heavily on Fuji Film recipes I’ve either borrowed or developed.. but sometimes they don’t quite get me to the look I’m after. This is the best video I’ve seen on adjusting those SOOC jpegs that are already in the ballpark but need a little refinement.
Awesome! So glad you found it helpful. I appreciate the feedback very much! 🙏📷
Thank you so much for the great video! I am looking forward to trying this soon. I love B&W and Acros + G is my go to.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video on how to unlock the acros simulation. It’s my favorite too! And I learn some Capture One tricks as a bonus 🙏🏻
Thanks for watching! 🙏📷💪
This was nice to see as I basically do the same thing. Good to know!! I was a C1 Express user but now only have the C1 Fuji raw converter. I really miss having the histograms. Curious...which version of C1 do you think makes the most sense for an amateur? I really was fine with Express, but of course, it's gone. Thanks again for sharing! Have a great weekend!
Not sure their are different versions of C1 at this point. I think they did away with that

Thank you so much!!!
Great video. Question: I thought you were adjusting the Acros jpegs until you mentioned you were working on RAW files. (I should have realized that as you had color channels in the histogram!!). With the new 40MP sensor in the X-T5 and the available HIF format, I've been leaning toward just keeping the HIF images when they are satisfactory. What results have you gotten making IQ adjustments that replicate these post changes and saving that as a custom sim for SOOC HIF images?
I haven't used HIF files but I can say that editing the raw files even for small tweaks, using the raw file makes a huge difference over the jpegs.
Thanks for the amazing video and great tips! I am already subscribed, it is a pity I cannot double subscribe, otherwise I would 👍
Love it! Thank you so much!!!

Hi Pete, new to your channel question is it true that a photo Sim cannot be applied to a raw file but you can do it in post?
Hey Al! Yes a raw file by nature does not have any editing applied, but in C1 you can add or change any film sim. When you import it the sim you used to take the photo is already applied but you can change it. I think LR is the same in this regard.
Thanks very much Pete
