This video, featuring the romantic stories of four couples and the many stages that are part of relationships, is magical. The first story: a country road, an old truck, a single rose and pulled-back curtain sets the scene for the start of young love. the video is actually about 4 separate relationships that each set place during a different time. the first couple is young and in love, second is the first kiss, 3rd is proposal and marriage, and 4rth is the baby coming (just happens to be a gay couple). originally i thought it was all one couple just growing up and going thr6ough life. it was quite confusing.
the last couple is a grandfather meeting his grandbaby... the product of a mommas boy and a daddy's girl falling in love, getting married and having a baby.
No it isn't/ I very seriously dout it. Both guys are in they late 20s or 30s. Unless a couple of people had a kid(s) around 15/16 or something like that then the two guys in the video aren't grandfather and grandson.

However after accidentally clicking on this, I found myself listening to the whole thing and enjoyed it and now have no regrets about it. May even go find another one of his songs to go listen to. I thought the gay couple was cute, but they did throw them in in a strange part. I know now (after reading the comments) that it was 4 different relationships. You shouldn't have to listen to what the director said about the video, it's his job to make you understand it well. I think what they should have done is at the ending, made it so the guy and girl were they same couple, then shown that the gays guys were her father.
