He's 6'2 230. ILB is the most mentally and physically challenging position on D. McFadden didn't drop into pass coverage well and needs to clean up tackling, so there is an opportunity for Johnson. Really rooting for him.

@@tariqs4357dude. Dyontae is day one of mine he’s literally a freak of nature physically. One of the most built people I’ve ever been around. I don’t know what you looking at. 230 is perfect for him anything over 240 is hindering him as playmaker currently. Let him get some years in the league before we start asking him to put on more weight. I watched this dude in high school barely weigh 180 pounds he’s came a long way.
@@tariqs4357he’s much more physical than Simmons I would say though. 2 different styles to their game. Desjuan Johnson who is an undersized defensive lineman will turn heads too, both from Detroit. These kids are hungry and will do anything it takes to be great.

With 7 battles for starting jobs, preseason games are going to be exciting. Usually just special teams are interesting to see which backups make 53. Looking fwd to pads in practice and preseason games this year.
