The arrow through an orifice does not specify the direction of flow. Just that it is adjustable. An orifice is just a hole so the flow can travel in both directions.
I know this is a REALLY old comment, but just in case anyone else wonders. That isn't really an arrow with a ball before. It's more like two separate lines meeting (----------< meets o-------). if you flow from behind the ball towards the mouth, the ball gets pushed against it, blocking flow (-----
I want to make a pocket book of hydraulic symbols and a brief discretion. Im struggling to find a comprehensive list of symbols. Can point me in the right direction? Please Great vids btw.
Different industries or countries often have different names for valves or circuits. Certainly at Parker and Rexroth we called these open center valves. But use tandem if that's what everyone in your industry understands.

I have a Ramsey test tomorrow. Glad I found this
Filter should be installed or locate in suction in the pump not in pressure line
I would say this is very informative. thanks for sharing the video
give some explanation abuot the direction of flow control valve and check valve and please upload impulse valve and time delay motion valves
We have a lot more detailed explanations on our e4training.com website.
Can you define me why both orifice direction are opposite.
How is working
no explination of accumulator ?
Not in this video but we have lots more at our e4training.com website
Good video. Please how do I get the software to download?
All of the training and the circuit simulation software is available on e4training.com
Shouldn't a check valve symbol let flow through the arrow and work like a diode symbol not the opposite way?

Great, thanks Issac
Well done mate. Very well explained.
which software is used for drawing the schematics drawings
We use Corel draw just because it looks better in the videos but I would not recommend this for normal circuit design drawings.

Why not use a customized version of our mobile phone app. This can show all of the symbols and link to you website as well.
Excellent
We have a review of hydraulic symbols o e4training.com and in our phone app that may help.
Bro this valve not open center this is tandan center DC valve

Thank you for this
My pleasure!
