    I’m in the U.S.A
    And have a 2015 Suzuki swift considered an “import “ . Can I do the same steps as this video ? Also where can I get replacement mounts

      Same steps should work. You’ll have to research the mounts locally. Try eBay or Amazon perhaps

    Hi did you suffer with a clunk when changing into second gear or coming off acceleration and then back onto it suddenly like a big clunk I've also had a rumbling noise when setting off I've put new wheel bearings and I've checked both drive shafts for play I wonder if this is all connected with a bad motor mount

      On this one it clunked when pulling away from stationary. Yours sounds like it might be the mount at the rear of engine/transmission

      @@boomerangtex3 I did think this also but I've had a good old pull at the engine on that side and I can visibly see the mount moving back and forth I might replace all mounts or just leave them it's done this clunk for a few years and it's not a show car or anything it's used as a van basically

    Mate they say no weight under the sump, I’m confused…

      A lot of weight is taken on the other mounts and you’re not jacking up the car… just raising the engine.Use a piece of wood to spread the load between jack and sump. Alternatively you can use an engine crane to help lift but most people don’t have one.

      Hi, I’m happy to post another video next time I do them. Same basic principle applies though… support/raise the engine slightly then swap out the mount

    Straight to the point, cheers. Just to confirm, there's no need to undo the alternator and aircon belts or anything? Also, did you use an OE or aftermarket mount?

    • @boomerangtex3
      @boomerangtex3  2 роки тому +3

      Yeah, no need to undo belts for this. Only what I’ve done in the video. I used an aftermarket mount from a local Australian supplier
