- The music video for Slade's single Myzsterious Mizster Jones (from the album Rogues Gallery), released by RCA Records in March 1985. The song was written by lead vocalist Noddy Holder and bassist Jim Lea, and produced by John Punter. It reached number 50 in the UK Singles Chart and number 6 in Music Week magazine's Heavy Metal Top Singles chart.
The music video was directed by Phillip Davey. In April 1985, pan-European magazine Music & Media listed it as being "well aired" across the continent, having achieved heavy action on Music Box.
Speaking of the Jones character, Noddy Holder told Donnie Sutherland for the Australian TV pop music show Sounds: "It's about a friend of mine from Wolverhampton who used to be a Hell's Angel. I changed his name to protect the innocent because I don't think he'd like a song about him. It's not knocking him, you know, but it's a song about him."
