Trimming the aircraft is very interesting and mirrors sailing. I'm self taught and spent a lot of time learning how to trim the sails. It's cool to see the similarities.

Just studied some L19 videos from Nam, where they did treetop Rudder turns only. If they dipped the wings, major oppsie. Rudder turns always when wheels are running on treetops.

Hello! I want to be an Airline Pilot, but I recently read that pilots are exposed to large amounts of Radiation. Is this something that I, and other pilots should be concerned about?

I know this kind of sounds rude, but I have to say it. Just because you’re 18 years old does not make you an adult, and we need to start saying that it takes many more years to become an adult for some and not as many years for others. But I do love that. She’s getting her pilots license early. She’ll have a great life as a pilot. Sorry for playing the devils advocate.
