The chatter in the crowd then his voice owned it. When my mate started driving we drove derby to hull just listening to the martins and the south then started getting the ferry to Rotterdam because we heard they did it. Much thanks.
Wow! Earliest recording I’ve ever seen of The Housemartins, thank you so much for posting this Ted, I wish I’d seen them when you were part of the band, I saw them first time live in 86 with Norman.
Interesting to see Ted Key. I have been listening to the lads since 1986, but had never seen a performance with Mr. Key, so this is a gem. They certainly looking smashing in this footage. Mr. Key looks the part. Very cool and very capable.
Wow, what an incredible find this is like at a house party or something… One of my favorite songs that and the light is always green… But these guys are total Marxist/communist which I was found so strange, but God they were great back in the middle late 80s Along with then what became The beautiful south

They were brilliant. Excellent social commentary, Heaton style.
Una grandisima canción, de una grandisima banda en estado puro.
Love it! Life sounds of my teenage years. Always nice to listen to The Housemartins

Es Ted Key, el bajista original; y este parece ser su canal de youtube.

Great band. Pity Heaton went from being great to being a twat after the first 2 BS albums.
