I am confused as to what the material is that you used to make the cover. You refer to it as foam and other names. I thought it was marine vinyl, but found out the hard way that vinyl fabric is too thick. Can you please post precise information as to what the material is? Better yet, a link to the supplier?

It's heavy duty vinyl. The kind with threads inside

FYI... It worked but it's ugly!
I would suggest you use a thick trash bag and a heavy rubber band.
