- Today we're revisiting the VW California Ocean T6.1 beds. I will show you how to set up the upstairs and downstairs beds as well as some handy tips and tricks for making it easier to set up and put back into driving mode.
I personally recommend getting the comfort mattress as it's a really good extra to have on any of the California range. It improves the sleeping quality ten-fold.

What is the length of the space behind the lower bench with it positioned fully forwards? Looking to store bikes inside and sleep upstairs. Thanks

Thanks. Did you say max weight was 75kg per person for upstairs bed? Doesn’t sound very much.
That's the official rating, but I've known people to be up there with total weight of 200kg+. A lot of people see the upstairs bed as for children, hence the smaller weight limit.
