Additionally, doesn’t it feel like his face shows he is determined? Last time, when he got the golden buzzer he looked very nervous, his singing was impassioned and incredible tho. But in this stage, Heidi said he was a bit nervous but I didn’t really feel that. In my view, He was very motivated and had confidence. Even though he was amazing today, I reckon he could be much better next time with the trust of himself. Let’s go Richard!

It was his way getting back at Simon for kinda telling him the song was not a great choice. He humbled Simon with that gesture about the people back stage are important too!

Rawness does not mean good. Rawness does not equal power. Every chance he has to pull it out, he pulls it back. He is a terrible singer but a good man. He won based on who he is, not his talents

Literally nothing outstanding about his voice at all. He's off key in almost every phrase of every performance I've seen, (and not in a Bon Dylan kind of way), is phrasing is 100% off, he's breathy, is closed off and muffled...he can't project, let alone sing. There are many, many more people who have better voices, but happier stories, that deserved to win for their talent alone.

I had the opportunity to meet Richard before a concert in our little hometown. He is so genuine, so humble, and so down to earth. I do think he could benefit from some coaching and may now get the opportunity to do so if he wishes. Is his voice the out of the box cookie cutter voice that's always applauded, no. It's unique to his own. This is AGT yes a lot of talent has crossed that stage along with some amazing voices. Richard came with more than just a voice. This song took my heart as it brings back memories of losing my wife. My only best friend I lived for. Years later I still feel the loss. Our children and grandchildren feel the same. We know she looks down upon us and helps us through the struggles. She's now in the hands of God.

No, if you had watched another video, you would know the song was for his fiancée. He explained that the night he did his audition, his fiancée had heart surgery because she had a major heart attack and almost died.
Richard has been of service for 20+ years, I believe it gives him joy and it helps him to do something else instead of sitting and waiting to perform. He has to grow a bit + Simon can groom him to be a star .

@stevemcintosh6711 I would disagree.. his voice is not weak. He does great with his tones. A voice unique to his own. I do think he could benefit from some coaching and may now get the opportunity to do so if he wishes. Is his voice the out of the box cookie cutter voice that's always applauded, no. It's unique to his own. This is AGT yes a lot of talent has crossed that stage along with some amazing voices. Richard came with more than just a voice. Simon stated, "I think America is going to love you".. Think about it.. ? Will he win it all? I don't know. I hope he does though. It would be well deserved. AGT making dreams come true..! 🙂

This song took my heart as it brings back memories of losing my wife. My only best friend I lived for. Years later I still feel the loss. Our children and grandchildren feel the same. We know she looks down upon us and helps us through the struggles. She's now in the hands of God.
Richard also lost his wife recently ,she died from cancer.

I fell in love with this guy when he auditioned with Don’t Stop Believin’ Journey. His quarter final performance is so moving and so beautifully done. I will admit, watching it on TV is different. Much better on UA-cam because there is so much screaming in the building, I didn’t hear it like this. I hope he wins it all! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

No, if you had watched another video, you would know the song was for his fiancée. He explained that the night he did his audition, his fiancée had heart surgery because she had a major heart attack and almost died.
