To me Terrence has not been the same since he had that acl injury.
True.
I think that’s part of it, but honestly since we changed oline coaches our linemen, especially tackles, have taken a step back. Good line evaluators talk about how they’re shooting their outside hands first and it makes me think we downgraded on the o line coaching starting last year.
Better this season than last year so far. PFF 68 this year, last year he was a 50.8 (ouch), 74 before he got hurt. So at least there is improvement.

@@johnlesser1523 I can’t stand Mike Solari, they made a mistake in getting rid of Joe Philbin.
When you're forcing one of the best Defensive Ends in the game to constantly go wide, you're doing well. TJ Watt got by Terrence Steele a few times. But look where TJ Watt ended up? He's 5 yards behind the QB and in no position to make an immediate play.
TJ Watt is pretty tough duty, obviously..
Steele got that 4 yr 40 mill extension , he better be able to handle the best 😂 said Jerry Jones 👍
It's called a jump cut, after Rico identified the correct gap . Let's go Cowboys 🤟🏈
Great film breakdowns Tuck. Really love these. Always learning something every time I watch.
Great Breakdown bro, Can we get that Mazi film next please
From the steelers game?
Yes Sir @@CFOSports
I am liking Bass more and more
I don’t know why, but I have the feeling that Steele is going to be cut in the off-season. If he is, I think this will be a great idea for Guyton to finally go back to his position of RT. He hasn’t been producing on the left side and I’m getting worried.
He was only on the right because his QB in College was left handed.
@@themkjs7391 And yet it was natural for him. When he moved to the left side, it’s been taking him too long to fix his technique
The best thing I saw from Steele was that he’s gotten his quickness back after that ACL injury. I’ve always thought his quickness off the ball is his super power.
@@scout06171 yeah hes moving again
Great film Breakdown bro. Steele is our 2nd best run blocker. Fan hate to see that they wrong and Steele has been solid.
he got paid so you know how it goes
Well he was facing a top three edge rusher.
The best defensive player in the NFL man!
I have a question, why don't the tackles attacked the DE's. Attack as in, get to the DE first and push them out of the pocket instead of waiting for the DE to come to them? I am not saying it should be done every play, but it would definitely cut down on DE's beating the tackles.
I think we need a new oline coach
Yeah, I agree
Used to be one of our best lineman before that injury he had he's descent at best.
Collinsworth repeatedly praised the run blocking of the Martin-Steele tandem on the gains Dowdle made.
Not just off this game why I personally say he gotta go just overall this season and last season
That one ref won us that game lol, Terrance Steele held Watt for dear life on the go-ahead TD play and didn't get called.
@@nickgonzales64 REAL MVP! 😂
@@CFOSports Look at the 2nd play, #97 with Hands to Face on Bebee. It is clear as day and not CALLED. Never know what ONE call can do to change the game. Don't go Cherry Picking a single play.
Damn right Steele is a walk in Saloon Door
Has been the Elephant in the Room amongst Skywalker & affiliates platform.
@10:27 was that actually a screen pass where Terrence just flashed blocked and let him Watt go?
Just my opinion but we have whiffed on literally every guy coming off injury that we then signed to a contract. Michael Gallup, Blake Jarwin, Jaylon Smith, Tyrone Crawford. I think we go from left to right, Smith, Bass, Beebe, Martin, Guyton. Keep Steele as the swing for this year. Use 1st and second round to address WR and Guard as Martin is close to retirement
Will see how Diggs and Overshown handle coming back from ACL injury
@@Kenny-bj2zq I would classify those guys a bit different, Diggs we had already signed, with good merit and then he had the ACL. Overshown is on his rookie contract. The players listed above had a major injury and THEN were signed so essentially betting on the player. Apart from Jaylon Smith but his knee injury is 1% of knee injuries and would’ve hope the Cowboys understood having a knee injury where the majority of people need a knee replacement by 40 means they arnt going to play 10+ years on the NFL. And I say this as a former university player who had the exact same injury as Smith, was able to do competitive powerlifting etc and now at 38 possibly need a knee or hip replacement
Two things one is Cowboys need to use Hunter more he is a beast. The second is the Boys win percentage goes up dramatically when they rush 100 yards a game.
Steel is a nice guy, and the cowboys doesn't need that. They need a mean tough crazy man out there.
Because the other teams knows he's a sweet nice fella.
Still can’t believe Jerry paid this dude $$$?
@@joeleal4138 he was coming off i njury so you know
I’ve been saying this for 3 years he’s the weak link of the offensive line
At the 6:40 (about) our GREAT pass blocking running back (Elliott) sees TJ coming and makes a business decision to get out of the way and not even lay a hand on Watt to help out. When, if ever, will the Jones realize that Elliott is costing us a roster spot that a real player can fill?
He tried to just that Steele got in his way and when he got around tj cut to the inside and he couldn’t do anything
going against Watt!!! I think he's working his way back being removed from a serious injury 2 yrs now..bigger guys rake longer with knee injuries
Do this the rest of the season. Basic football
no he's not the problem. You can't have great O-line across the board. In his case he struggles with the speed rush if the End is fast. So how do you solve that. You chip the edge rusher with a back or TE. Force him to rush inside which this guy is better at. We don't do much help and when we do it's been on Guytons side.
Man we got him with that low hand high hand and he's had problems with it let players do what they do best the year he had before the injury he played great and great enough to earn him that contract he is the weak link on the line well Guyton also sometimes but we did run the ball very good and that's what Steele does best is run blocking I dunno our offense looked better but we're still just a little out of sync it's a big road win and the fight we had through out the game has me excited and happy. Sometimes it's like we just excepting a ass whooping let's go ZIM great game plan and execution
They need to bench him and put Tyler Guyton at RT and move Tyler Smith to LT and watch how that line moves…Guyton had more experience at RT at Oklahoma so why not make that move
He's going up against the defenses best rusher every week. It's expected to lose some.its ok he will get better
He's a flash in the pan. Maybe put Guyton out there
What makes you think Guyton will be any better at RT going against Watt? This is the NFL.
TJ Watts is one of the best in the business. Steele was on the struggle bus all game long trying to compete. Steele is not that good against top tier defense linemen
Yes, he is the big problem.
IMO he's not earning the money he's being paid. If Cowboys don't opt out of his contract in 2026 there is something very wrong with the offensive line or Steele is playing much better.
Keep him for now because he's all you got, but I think ultimately Tyler Guyton moves to RT and we draft another LT (or else Smith moves to LT)
We could be doing a film breakdown on TJ watt being on our team..but ya know that Jerry jones guy 🙄
@@LxgxndsNeverDie maaaaan 😔
@@CFOSportsexcellent work though bro, I seen a couple of your vids after the browns game…I forgot to sub but I’m locked in now
@@LxgxndsNeverDie appreciate you welcome to the fam
Him & Guyton are the problems on the line Guyton needs to be RT Steele ass needed to be traded atp 😂
Guyton hasn't proven anything. He is a liability with dumb penalties and poor blocking. What makes you think it will be any better at RT? Steele is superior at run blocking.
Well Tuck he gave up a sack and he need to pay Duke to get him back on teack
bars 😂
Bass whiffed his block which would have been 4 more yards.
Steele sucks
He is just not the same since the ACL injury- But I am hoping he can turn the corner as the season still early
He's had plenty of time.. His "turning the corner" time.. was all of last year imo@@Kenny-bj2zq
@12:00 both Smith and Steele got smoked at the same time.
It doesn't matter who Steele is going against.. He's letting someone go right by him at least 5 times a game. The whole third down thing yes it's absolutely true.. Anytime we need a play to keep a drive going Steele opens the gate.
Hopefully dirty ass Hutchinson doesn't try and twist up daks legs/ go for knees/hip drop dak like last year..
This is only selected plays, the eyes dont lie. He was flashing in this game but in a bad way. He is mediocre at best. Whats to discuss. He is average at best, a better run blocker. His feet are lazy, he misses with his hands, he is showing the same signs he did at college. He wasnt impressive then, and he looks similiar now. Voch broke him down draft time, he was not the guy. Had one good year and the other years are so so in my opinion. Now, hes getting dogged every game that has average to above average defenses, ive watched the ravens, saints, pitt, shoo even the Giants defenders gave him some trouble smh. He needs to be let go and draft a new guy
Dak throwing the ball into tight windows no separation most of time from the receivers
Yes he is a big problem. Time to make a change before dak gets hurt because he can’t block
He not a rookie to be going backwards 😂
great video but sorry guyton should be right tackle Tyler Smith left tackle with Bass at lg best 5 just my opinion though
my guy dmv about to drop a video on that soon that was gonna be my video but he's cooking i think guyton just needs to be the swing for now
We extended guy nothing we were hoping because of injuries last year why he struggled
Steele would be a Pro Bowl guard. This off season I would have moved him to left guard. Smith to LT and let Guyton be the RT where he is more comfortable.
Our oline coach is garbage and both out tackles are solf
He and guyton are bums
At least guyton a rookie he has room to improve Steele on the other had us the opposite
Ha. Chaz Green is offended by this comment.
And some fans acting like Steele is the worst RT ever smh
Steele’s hands are the problem. He doesn’t extend and lets guys get into his body which causes him to whiff. It’s maddening.
He is truly an overpaid 6 man. Should have never been a starter
We gotta start looking into this duke manyweather thing. Guyton looks horrible, just like his collge tape, lunging, no hands, not physical. The whole line went to Duke and your tackles are suspect. All the workout videos are for show. They dont show proper technique in the game when battling. He was teaching proper, but they lose it in the heat of battle
I’m sorry but this guy SUCKS!! I’ve been saying this since he played his first down back in 2020!! He played so so back in 2021, but that’s it. He SUCKS and he should be benched and released at the end of the year.
There’s good? 😂
DE Hutchison from Lions, okay Steele
@@geraldbeasley yeah itll be a battle
Terrence Steele has his highs and lows like any player but he is overall solid
