    Hope so much that De Grasse will be at his peak in Tokyo!! Praying that his starts will improve tremendously then!!

    What an awesome training regimen. People tend to overlook the importance of foundational work before the grueling track work. In the past I've been guilty of this but have definitely seen an improvement by slowly building my way up to "calculated" peak performance for any given year/season.

    Milesplit... u know when the coach said once the track season gets started again, training session are going to get more serious and intense between the two of them. I think most of us would like to see the competitiveness that is happening. I think it would be great if u created another video just like this in the future. Please 😭

    I wish I had a trainer. I would be running sub 10.5 in 6 months and sub 10 in 2 years. For now I will coach myself until someone see’s my potential. If not then I will achieve my goals alone. In 3 years you will see me at the olympics

      Stephan Grové what age are you right now and whats your 100m PB?

    • @stephan8585
      @stephan8585 4 роки тому

      Most Unique I’m 23 and my PB is 11.1sec but it was 2 years ago and I didn’t do any sprints I just went to a track and a coach took 6 times which 11.6 was my first run and then as I got to the end I was more warmed up and hit 11.3 twice and my last run was 11.1 sec. I have since been doing powerlifting and a lot of core training and explosive training I took it very seriously but I went away from sprinting I never focused on it. At a weight of 246lbs I ran 12.3 two months ago totally new to sprinting and I felt very awkward and stiff but I have a lot of power. Two months later I tested my 100m again with a coach and got 11.7 which is absolutely crazy and I still weigh the exact same but I will definitely have to cut weight if I want to come close to competing as a pro. So my diet is changed to high protein and fat with enough carbs before and after my workout. I guess I will have to go down to 200lbs in the next 8 months or so for healthy weight loss I just need to keep my protein high so that I don’t lose too much muscle. I can definitely go sub 11 training myself in the next 6 months. My vertical is 41” and my broad jump is 3.11m which is above average. I’ve been asked to play rugby by 3 different clubs in my area but I’m not interested there’s too high risk of injury and no reward

      @@stephan8585 Usually I would disagree and think someone like you is lying (as there are so many on here that are lying) but everything you said sounds very reasonable. I totally agree, I think whats probably holding you back is your weight. I'm currently 72kgs and aiming for 70-80kgs. But I'm a 400m guy. You won't need to be as light as me and could use a bit of extra weight (muscle) for that explosive power.
      Best of luck man!

    • @stephan8585
      @stephan8585 4 роки тому

      Most Unique Luckily I’m not lying and I have a lot of knowledge when it comes to explosive, strength and mobility training. Thanks and it makes sense that’s why I decided to do sprinting because so many coaches and athletes actually say the more muscle you have the more potential there is for explosiveness. Obviously strength is preferred over size which shows having dense muscle mass is better for sprinting. Awesome all the best to you as well I still have the 400m lying ahead of me but at this moment I think my weight should come down first for the next few months to prevent injury

    • @mostunique5941
      @mostunique5941 4 роки тому

      @@stephan8585 yea, I'm usually quite a bit bigger then the 400m runners I compete against, 400m is still a sprint but every kilo counts

      Paulius Kazlauskas it Has been proven that top sprinters Dont produce more force than average sprinters. They produce the same amount of force, but faster. They have faster contact time.
      And if you want to have faster contact Time you have to do workouts that have fast contact times. You do that Over and over and your nervous system will adapt.
      I feel like when these guys have such A high tech Training facilities they start to do too much.

      Anthony's Wave that's the question. Now I know I've put about 4 to 5 foot lengths between routins where I've done 15 hurdles about 20 to 30 meters or so, but I have no idea of 90 meters of work what spacing should be...so goos question young man!

      So much wrong with your comment. To name a few:
      1. Pigment in skin color doesn't determine how fast you run
      2. Pigment in skin color doesn't determine if you're a good coach
      3. The fastest sprinter in the world had a "black" dude coaching him. What happened to your "random white dudes coaching always"?
      4. 5 of the top 6 fastest sprinters all time had a "black" dude coaching him, respectively
      5. Pigment in skin color doesn't make you a separate race. You're still a human being.
      6. Do you apply your reasoning to any other physical characteristics? Should double jointed people train themselves? Maybe certain earlobe shaped people should only cook for themselves, drive for themselves, do accounting for themselves.
