I play the Sims almost every day but I really appreciate these guide videos because they remind me to try this in my next gameplay. My go-to stories are either boring, vanilla families or drugs, woohoo, and extreme violence. Shake it up!
my sim became famous (and rich) FAST through being a programmer. i didn't intent to make her famous but she keeps gaining more and more stars
Same here! Had a sim as a freelance programmer and he gained so much through just making webpages.

I think they did a great job of making the Fame System really cross-compatible with all the various skills and careers. Would love to see this level of detail with all TS4 gameplay!

My sim did the wellness career and promoted herself and her classes on social media. At the higher levels of the career dhe gained fame for leading yoga classes, giving massages and manicures. Plus topping out the knitting skill and selling on plopsy also gains some fame. Get famous gets ridiculed but it is a true expansion pack in that it extends gameplay in all packs. I also like the reputation system it brings too.

If you complete the “Collector” aspiration you can sell gems, elements and fossils to the Geo Council. You get fame and quite a bit more money than normal.
You can gain fame by uploading snowboarding videos if you have the Snowy Escape expansion pack

frank has a mod followers for fame that automatically adds followers for fame levels and a cheat menu to add/remove them
I wish there was a way to opt out of donations bringing you fame since I don't think a good sim would want to gain fame by helping others. I also wish other occults like aliens, mermaids, vampires, werewolves etc. could gain fame by showing their supernatural forms in public(maybe not in places like Sulani, Forgotten Hollow or, Moonwood Mill since they're used to it) I think everyone would freak out and make photos and videos of them go viral if it was realistic even if they never wanted to be famous.
The fame aspect kind of intrigues me, so I'll be trying harder at it. This video will help, thanks
I wish the "job scenarios" wouldn't tell you what would happen.. it would be cool if we had to pick one option to see if it was the "right" one or not ..
Did you know that you can also gain fame by doing mischief interactions, my evil step mother gains fame by riling up a sim in public, and when she fights with other sims, she is also an author of evil books (which is another way to gain fame) you can gain fame being evil!
you can also gain a little bit of fame from winning a lot of soccer games in discover university

Thank you for this! I have never successfully gotten to my Sim to become a five star celebrity, let alone stay as one during their life time. They keep losing their celebrity status no matter how often I live streamed and updated their social media, and I would always choose to make them gain fame through their skills. Just so difficult for me😭

Yup! It's taking much longer to load. Mccc isn't working for me. I read that someone said the "more columns" mod is messing with cas color swatches.
