Nice. Congratulations! 👊
thanks :)
Great Job on the video Bro. Yeah Its a great Bike and 202KMH is mighty fine. Big Thumbs Up. Cheers Paul
Thanks Bro :) Maybe tomorrow I will get the new GSX-S1000GT ;)
Lustig, leicht und aufregend. Ja, es ist definitiv ein Suzuki
zudem auch noch relativ günstig :)
Nice! Real nice!
thanks :)
Nice.
I tried riding my SV 650 at 160 km/h and the wind pressure was that bad that the helmet started pressing on my nose 😆
I know this situation :D But now I have a new helmet and I hope it's better now. But not tested a fast naked bike yet.
Same with me. Felt like I was skydiving😆
Or at least what I think skydiving would feel like.
V-twin engine!!! 🔥🔥🔥
it works well :)
Just bought one. I like this engine its super nice at low to mid RPM. No need to rev high. A proven work horse.
Still. I cant wait for you to test the new Honda Hornet on the Autobahn. I like those top speed videos. They dont tell you much about the bike. Still fun to watch.
great :) have fun and ride safe ;)
Das arme Mopped wieder😉🤣🤣Aber immer Full Gas!👍💪LG🏍
sie wollen es ;)
@@mototop_ Na wenn das so ist hast du keine Wahl! Gib Gummiiiiii👍😜🤣
Aerodynamics really make a difference after 100MPH. After upgrading to a MWR Air Filter, Corsa Windscreen, Toce Exhaust, and ECU Flash along with the weight reduction on my 2020 R3 I’ve been able to hit 199KPH, or 124MPH. Not bad for a 321cc parallel twin.
I plan on building an older SV650 up for track use. Fully faired version, with the typical bolt on upgrades, I’m betting I can hit 127-130MPH with the SV650.
yep, I guess the SV650 will make a lot of fun on racetrack :)
Don't forget about aftermarket stacks , larger air intakes with higher profile will allow higher volume of pressured air to pass in the combustion chamber that obviously will improve efficiency and dynamics, about hp i cannot guarantee you but it's a must have mod . And the thing that more burnt air in the engine increases the performance is fact so for track use in highly desirable.
I had a beautiful sparkle black with red frame 2018 that now is my favorite bike of many I have owned. Traded for a VStrom 1000xt and while I love that bike too I missed the SV for pure fun ripping on the back roads. So, just called my dealer and said get me a '23 SV. All in all I just came to realize I had more fun on the SV. Anyway, I'm 230 lbs. and probably will never get to 196 kph but that's okay. It'll go as fast as I want to go. Ride safe friends! I'm in the US and actually thinking about shipping the SV and touring Europe on it.
oh great :) yeah, come to Europe for a ride. The Alps are very nice.
Nice 👍
thanks :)
Nice video top speed is limitet to 202 or this is the real end?
this was the real end
How much you weigh ? buy a quick one, for example, puig, I had a better departure on reaching the SV650A and 170 at ease, and the GPS from Garmin multiband indicated 169.2
my weight is 60kg
I have the SV650S with the cowling and fairings. I wonder how much the better aerodynamics would affect the top speed.
I guess about 10km/h could be possible
@@mototop_ is it true that bikes in europe are tuned differently for emission purposes?
@@MenderSlen579 Yes, but I would not call it tuned, it's more like restricted ;)
Any chance to have the Trident 660 in the channel? Thanks
oh, this is a pretty rare bike in Europe :D
I tried mine sv650x but without gps. I did 220 with scorpion exhaust and it has a little bit more to push
Also pretty good
@@mototop_ yeap. The exhaust gives a bit more power and less weight
@@mototop_ btw i got some videos on my channel, its not top speed 😜 but i will be glad if you can check them out 🤙
I wonder if an A660 GIVI windscreen would increase the top speed.
maybe... :)
Nice one. How did it feel riding this bike with no wind protection at 200 kph? Not something that would be comfortable for any period of time. Plus on an autobahn you’d also have cars passing you. Keen to hear your thoughts and also out of all the bikes you have tested which, in your opinion, handles then the best from a comfort perspective at speeds from this and up? 👍😎🇦🇺
the best naked bike at topspeed was the BMW S1000R I would say. But you're right, above about 180kph the wind pressure on the helmet is getting to high to do it for longer time :D
@@mototop_ 😊 I actually have just purchased a brand new bike. Interestingly, it’s the same as what you have just mentioned. Keep up the great videos and work you put in to creating awesome content.
@@marcusgeorge1825 thanks :) I'll try to go on with these kind of testing. But the politicians in Germany always talking about adding a speed limit on the Autobahn....
@@mototop_ Politicians, regardless for country, always keep “talking”…. 🤪
@@marcusgeorge1825 And if not talking, they do stupid and corrupt things.... :)

SV650은 다재다능한 성공적인 오토바이입니다.
You guys must have a limiter on your bikes or the newer models atleast, I’ve gotten mine well over 200kph.
Have you measured with GPS?
With my 2016 SV650 i go to 228 km/h no problem. I juste have a Ixil and a BMC filter ✌🏻
nice :) have you also measured with GPS?
@@mototop_ no i don't have a good GPS just on the Go Pro but i don't try it
@@thomasvieiradossantos2840 would be interesting
@@thomasvieiradossantos2840 pretty sure that's like 210 gps
All stock? No remap or anything?
all stock. We don't have many bikes in Germany that are ECU flashed.
I regularly hit 130mph on my 07 SV650 in MN...
per GPS?
@mototop_ nope. But I am maxing the machine out, so its probably around the same as yours. Sorry to sound cunty... just though on the Autobahn it would be quicker. I suppose thats the max speed of your bike?
@@chromaticnomadic that was the max speed of this bike
@@chromaticnomadic What would the place matter? Just because it's the autobahn doesn't mean the bike will go any faster than topping it out anywhere else
On your first attempt, why don't you just stay in the right lane ? In my opinion there was no need to block the left lane going just 180-200km/h. You yourself know that those speeds are pretty common on the Autobahn and there are many people goin way above that and if you lean yourself forward on the SV you can't look in your mirror, so what's the point in avoiding the right lane?
Except that it was interesting to see how much the "new" SV is able to do.
Cheers
you're right, I could have used the right lane for a while. But there was really no one behind me. And as you said, if I leand forward, I can't see the mirrors. That's why I prefered to stay on the left lane. With my XX it's not a big problem, even at 300 as you can see here ;) ua-cam.com/video/ta9FDdtJLG8/v-deo.html
Yea, you should have moved to the right lane... where there were other cars! Wait, what?
That's it, mine 2018 SV650 can hit 140 in mph!
per GPS?
no
@@ragimundvonwallat8961 how do you know?
@@mototop_ because mine hit 135 and he couldnt pass me
@@ragimundvonwallat8961 you know eachother?
funny.. added a 525 chain 4 links clipped let off throttle at 160mph 257kph with a rucksack and great wind air density.. stay safe
Aha...
Yeh sure....
@@WD-sr8qz ok
@@WD-sr8qz yeah the odometer must have been lying
I have 2023 sv650 got mine to 131mph
per speedo or measured with GPS?
Is it stock
yep. 100% stock
Would this be as fast with a 100kg guy in it
topspeed will be nearly the same if he's not much taller or bigger :) but acceleration will be slower
Not bad for 73hp
....for a naked bike :D With fairing it would be faster :)
SV650
yep
how much do you weigh ?
60kg, you find it in the intro ;)
@@mototop_ oh sorry didnt see it :)
@@harley-davidsonfanboy3729 no prob 😊
200 Kmh...? 😮. My new runs 160. more and the Tacho is in Red Area ..
that's interesting.
Not bad but the mt07 is lighter and faster also sounds better so if you don't care about the retro styling, the mt07 is the winner
I see, I have to test the Yamaha MT07 :) sadly I don't have any contact to Yamaha yet
Demasiado aire para hacer la prueva
¿Qué quieres decir exactamente?
Que cuando hace mucho viento frontal la moto no anda tanto como debería y en el video da esa sensacion de bastante aire.
Did you know that GPS can also be misleading?
of course also GPS is not 100% correct. No measuring method is 100% correct. But GPS is one of the best you can use for acceleration and topspeed of normal vehicles. Accuracy is about +-1kph.
@@mototop_ looking at the postpartum kP index could have sucked
Why are you using a 3rd party speedometer? The bikes speedometer should be way more accurate.
That's the Gopro GPS. It's way more accurate than speedometer.
Cheeses, my sister weighs more than 60 Kilo's.
the average weight of women in Germany is 69kg.... :) and men is 85
@@mototop_ well dont speed test with 60Kg wimp then.
Thats it for a 650 sad
what you expect?
Bullshits top speed have 230 km
what you mean?
@@mototop_ i mean that u dont open it more.go it to red lines and u will see easysily 225-230 top speed
@@alexandroskyr4342 Stock it cannot get in red line in 6th gear
