Google maps will get you lost in Korea haha. But it’s a smart thing how they basically force you not to use their competitors apps and you have to use their own. Also i think you are using the apps wrong haha. Seoul has such an easy subway system to use as compared to Tokyo with all the different lines owned by different companies and you can’t use this ticket on this line, but only on other lines. Then the platform thing… we were so confused when we went from Seoul to Tokyo for the first time. That being said, it has improved a lot in Tokyo I originally went there in 2018 and I just went back last year. Much better experience on the subway!
