Bro I spent all morning trying to follow old guides on this and borking my system. I even followed your old tutorial. I remade probably 5 or 6 VMs in this timeframe and got frusterated. Came back to it later to find your new video and it worked. Thank you!
Thanks man. That's very helpful.
it's works, thank you so much
Thanks
it's works!
Hi and thanks for the tip, I have this version of Ubuntu server, I installed CasaOs with Pi-Hole which immediately conflicts with port 53 but I managed to fix the ports but if I install Unbound and as soon as I configure the Unbound DNS on Pi-Hole I have no internet. Ubuntu server/casaos 192.168.1.200 and my gateway 192.168.1.100. Can you help me? There is no current video explaining it.
I've been working on setting up an Ubuntu server on my other laptop for the last few days. I want it to be a file server. It's in a Virtual Box. Is that going to make a difference? Also, if I remember correctly my network is on something like ens04 or something like that. I'm figuring I use my number whatever it is instead of the number that came up on your computer. Correct?
what about the note in the 50-cloud-init.yaml file that advises to disable config? else Ubuntu can "blow your config changes out from under you"? I was used to editing netplan .yaml file(s) in previous versions, and then started to have problems, because reboots caused my networking not to work anymore, I would have to "tinker" with netplan again (and again)
This issue is what led me to this video. What about the warning?
