How can I share my external drive? I follow your tutorial, thank you. I was able to experiment to share a folder. But I could not figure out how to share external drive or files within the external drive. Most likely I do not understand the path to my external drive. /media/user/external. not sure what the path should be. I would love to get your helpl, thanks.
Needs to be mounted directly under /media not /media/user
Thank you
In your smb.conf you had browsable not browseable
I may be the very first person who could not access the shared folder. I followed each and every step shown here but was unable to access it from my Mac. Any help would be highly appreciated. The exact issue that I am facing is, I can access the shared folder from a different server(linux) using smbclient but not from my local Mac or Windows.😭
Would MX Linux be any different?
