Apart from Emmy Rossum's angelic singing, my favorite part is Monsieur Reyer's understated, mouthed "Brava." He's the orchestra maestro, so he obviously knows opera music at expert level. He's seen Carlotta and who knows how many prima donnas before her, so he's familiar with the luminaries of the field. Christine's been training as a ballerina since she was six, so she knows who he is and must respect him for his skill and knowledge. That quiet little compliment from a man like him probably would have meant as much as all the applause.
This movie was underrated
I dont care for this movie but it is definitely not a bad movie at all! this song is my favorite, but its just my style lol.
