Hi, I'm looking for a drone for both me and my son to learn on, we tried the tiny-hawk 3 fpv kit analog but the camera came broke and all i got was a black screen, we sent that back but both of us have gotten pretty good on the drone simulator, so im thinking of just going for broke literally and investing in the dji goggles 2, but i'm struggling to find a drone that is small enough to fly around the house, but decent enough to do acro outside, I'm considering the mobula 8, pavo pico, the acrobee 75 and this one. Which one can take a hit better? as I'm sure my son will smash it in to the celling quite a lot, and I'm not the type of bloke that can build a drone or a staircase. I curranty have the goggles 2 and an elrs radio master in the shopping cart and itching to spend my Christmas bonus.

@@dronecamps Hi, I just want to say Thankyou for your response, that plus your comparison video between the Pavo and the Mobula 8 helped me settle on the Mob 8. The reason being, I had already invested in an xt30 charger also the shipping times, I got next day on the Mobula and would have had to wait 2 weeks for the Pavo, as no stores in the UK stocked them,. Today it was delivered here is how it went if anyone is interested. short story incoming ... I've bound up the controller after spending 4 hours trying to flash my radio it when it didn't need to be flashed , (outdated YT videos can be dangerous) then I saw the plug and un plug the battery trick 3 times to bind and face palmed myself when i realise I could of been flying withing 5 mins of delivery, I also managed to bind my home wifi to the radio which resulted in the radio becoming invisible to my PC which resulted in me talking to someone on the ELRS discord who was super helpful. after binding. I've flown it line of sight in my house as of right now, It handles great however I did smash it in to the ceiling when my dad visited the house and opened the living room door hitting the drone resulting in panic throttle haha, I'm super impressed with this drone compared to the tiny hawk which felt too floaty and twitchy on the controls, I've not yet tried to connect the fpv goggles to it yet as I'm a little worn out from the stress of the radio which shouldn't at all of been stressful A tip for anyone buying the boxmaster elrs and elrs drone combo (correct me if i'm wrong) all you need to do to set up the radio is go to bind select bind then on your drone connect and disconnect the battery 3 times and you're done. as easy as that YOU DONT NEED TO FLASH and if this doesn't work then perhaps you got an old model that does need to be flashed but try this first and save yourself the head ache or possible panic attack haha
Totally agree, very nimble @5:44, and totally agree on the straps too @20:13. I got away from the TPU and use the OG rubberband method slings in between the frame and FC, slap a decent size silicon sticky lipo pad, they hold for now 😆😊.

Lol have you seen the Bardwell video where he puts his rates to the lowest and highest possible settings. Yeah, I can't fly standing up, well I mean I can but I start leaning all weird to one side or another. It's just not as comfortable or as easy compared to sitting down.
@@dronecamps something about flying dji gives people vertigo. More so if your coming from analog. I've read it might be due to the latency differences between analog and dji. Try flying a analog pack and see if you get it again.

Yes, it will work with Integra goggles and DJI Controller 2.... just make sure you get the BNF-DJI version.

Nope, it wou't work with the "big black box" FPV Controller. You need the FPV Controller 2 to fly it.
