@@TommyCBricks I Love what you are doing with the Doc Ock!! But tbh the black hair does sort of take me out of it, would you consider using other styles that have the accurate hair color?🤔 if so, which ones would you use? I think the dark brown Han Solo hair would work well!!
For Electro, you can take a 1x1 back attachment, put it on his front, then attach the Arc Reactor piece like that. This does mean it'll be centered, but a small price to pay for details.
Definitely keep the shield for versatility and accuracy. Also, shouldn't the statue's colour be lighter? Idk if you are going to do that later or what, but in the movie it's a lighter bronze than that, especially in the lit up spots.
Many things, firstly great video 1. For doc ock I think Jay's hairpiece from the Lego Ninjago movie would be better and use the gray and gold octopus arms. 2. Keep the shield, that scene is definitely going to become a very iconic scene of him discovering how his emotions got out of hand and though he is a hero he also can have flaws. 3. It would be cool to include JJ Jameson, maybe even just the minifig and a cameraman, even bring back the cameraman from the daily bugle (a fun easter egg.)
When you have the statue done, Tommy, could you show it to us next to the Daily Bugle or Giant-Man? Just for us to see how big this thing is compared to your other projects.
It may be quite a different approach but you could build the shield as it's dropping down through the scaffolding, allowing for a freeze frame shot of the scaffolding breaking (maybe MJ falling off as it does so), and also revealing more of the statue hidden behind the scaffolding. Although this is probably a little bit too difficult to physically create I thought I would propose the idea just in case. Loved the minifigures! They look great!
Can’t wait for Part 3! IMO, don’t build the shield yet, then you can build it like the Homecoming final fight, along side something for Far From Home. Also, instead of the “Flat Top Hair” for Sandman, you could use the “Mr. Incredible Hair.” It’s receding like the “Venkman Hair,” but is a little bit shorter.
Looks great!!! We need that shield!!! It would go so well and mabye you could have it as a pin connection to the base of the statue of liberty. Then you could just take it off and cover the pin holes for when you want to display the moc differently. But whatever you do with the moc, I'm sure it'll be great. Good luck Tommy!!
I would say that the best way to do Electro's final suit is by using the aim agents torso with green arms instead of yellow, use a piece of resistance neck attachment, then the arc reactor stud piece. Also use the tchalla star lord hair piece for the head
I think a better torso and legs for Doc Ock would be Endor Han Solo, as the coach also flows into the legs, it's the same sort of colour and it has a bit more detail.
I definitely think you should use the gold and grey arms for doctor octopus. The gold adds a nice detail and breaks up the bland grey. Also in the movie there is definitely visible gold accents on the arms.
epic video bro! LOVE LOVE LOVE that green goblin figure! abso-LUTE-ly perfect!!!! other figures are epic too! as for doc ock tho, i would suggest using percival graves' face
Great episode! My favorite figure is Aunt May, that face is great, and Scrooge’s torso was so clever! If they don’t give her an exclusive print for her face, I hope they use that when they (hopefully) make her
In my opnion, I think you should keept the shield diorama base as a side build but it can attach to the bottom of the base through lego technic pins like how it's done in Sonic. Technic pins can also be used throughout for more versatility like a sandman diorama, though I do not know if you're able to do it. Love the videos though and I hope this moc comes out as a massive success!
This is just an idea but for doc ock I think you should use Maisie’s torso from the Jurassic world dominion wave of sets because it’s a green jacket with brown stripes next to it just to give it that more accuracy but again this is just an idea if you want to use
What I’d recommend for electro is - legs from the firefighter - torso from the aim agent - brown arms -black hands -tchallas hair -the head already used
For my quick and dirty custom electro, I used Bane's torso from the Dark Knight Rises set, with a neck bracket holding an arc reactor piece over it. I think in terms of look, Bane's torso is about as close as you can get to his armor from the final battle
Gold and gray doc ock arms are really awsome and all but if ya want to stay true to that scene I'd use all gray because he have the nano tech back to spider man at the apartment. Love the build so far keep up the great work❤️😊
Just a suggestion for Electro. Semi-Purist: Hair: CMF Falcon Cap Head: CMF T’Challa with some beard printing removed. I like this head only because of the smile which gives Electro a cocky kind of look. Torso: 2020 AIM Agent Legs: Ghostbuster female legs. I forget which figure specifically. Arms: This is the second part of the semi purist method. Brown arms with black paint making the sleeves. If you don’t like that the CMF Simon Baz Green Lantern with the green removed is good too, so long as you don’t mind the difference of color.
Love all the figures so much! I think a good alternative head for Goblin is the smiling expression from the Marvel cmf Loki. You should try it if you haven’t already!
Here a tip for Aunt may minifig! Remove the front of the torso from scrooge McDuck minifig with pencil eraser. So the back of the torso looks like the front of the torso!
You snuck in the grey and gold arm which is the worst one. I'd say keep it all grey for the Statue of Liberty scene. The gold, red, and grey arm looks really cool too
For sandman’s hair just use some sticky tac and put it in the hole or the head so the hair will sink into it and keep it still also u could add metamorphos mud leg even tho it doesn’t match the color it still would look cool and for doc ock the gold and grey arms are better
The shield looks so good! I think you could try to get it to work with the rest of the model but if it doesn’t work you could display it as a different model seperate to the Statue of Liberty. That way you can display both, have the Spider-Man and Green Goblin fight while they are also doing other things on the statue and not let that amazing design go to waste!
If you going for accuracy, I’d say you’d better keep the full gray arms for doc ock because that’s the way it was in the battle. But I personally think that the integrated arms are way cooler.
Great video! Also as a suggestion for the electro minifig, if you use the cmf gamora’s arms it adds a more detailed look while continuing the neon green look
I think what would be cool in terms of the shield would be if the shield was removable from the arm of the Statue of Liberty. So that you can recreate the scene where it falls down into the water.
Seeing as you're still getting used to custom prints this may be a stretch, but on firestar toys there are pearl grey wrist pieces that work great for electro and a choice of hairpieces that could be better for sandman, but that may be too custom
For electro you could use this scuba diver torso, it has these speedometers and straps in the same place as the film, the speedometers kinda look like arc reactors
For electro I would use the reddish brown hands and try to find duel molded arms black and brown, and use the 2016 Ghostbusters ecto one and two legs as it gives the cargo pants with stripes aesthetic
You could use rope pieces tor bricks to try tethering the shield to the torch in a way so you can still see the statue's face and can be ripped down like in the movie at will or with a play feature, you can also use 1 stud 2x2 plates on the ground so you can angle the statue in a way if the shield is too difficult to work with
For Electro, I use a different fireman torso that only has a small dial in the top left corner, so it has all the right details and a little white circle where the arc reactor is... closest I can get for purist, and you'd never second guess it from display distance
A good idea is making a video on the shield an a 'upgrade kit' for the statue of liberty If u didn't care to much of purest Lego Minifigures I would say buy some unofficial figures, then just used parts from the unofficial and add it to the ones I created. Alot of Lego people I've seen so that so I'm certain not alot of people would care. Up to u tho
For those wondering, the glasses head he’s used for Doc Ock is from Professor Hugo Strange, and the torso is from Steve Trevor
Thanks that helps out a tun
Noice
Thank you not even I knew what head that was
@@TommyCBricks I Love what you are doing with the Doc Ock!! But tbh the black hair does sort of take me out of it, would you consider using other styles that have the accurate hair color?🤔 if so, which ones would you use?

Honestly I think that the shield might not be buildable on a budget
For Electro, you can take a 1x1 back attachment, put it on his front, then attach the Arc Reactor piece like that. This does mean it'll be centered, but a small price to pay for details.
Did the same
Definitely keep the shield for versatility and accuracy. Also, shouldn't the statue's colour be lighter? Idk if you are going to do that later or what, but in the movie it's a lighter bronze than that, especially in the lit up spots.
Technically it's copper not bronze
agreed. I really wanna see the sheild fight.
@@javierfernandez6031 bronze could be discribed as the color not the material
what colour do you suggest
@@ClicheProductions medium nougat but that’s quite a rare color so brown is the best option without spending like 2000$
Considering the amount of detail going into the other figures, I would recommend the grey/gold combo for doc ock's arms.
These are my favourite episodes of all of them
place the shield in front of the statue and break the scaffolding just like in the movie!!!
Many things, firstly great video
1. For doc ock I think Jay's hairpiece from the Lego Ninjago movie would be better and use the gray and gold octopus arms.

For the Doc Ock arms, I prefer the grey variation, I feel like the gold and grey arms looks a little off, in my opinion.

You should totally use firestar toy's Doc Ock, it looks soooooo much better. They also have great Dr. Strange arms.
Gold and Gray arms for ock 100%
The Raimi arms alot quite alot of gold within the grey looking back
You snuck in the grey and gold arm which is the worst one. I'd say keep it all grey for the Statue of Liberty scene. The gold, red, and grey arm looks really cool too
gold and grey looks nice
Definetly build that sheild it looks sick
The MOC looks great so far! I do feel like it should be medium nougat or dark orange instead of brown though.
That Aunt May is perfect!
Edit: and an AMAZING Goblin, too!
For a torso on Electro I used the torso from the Scuba Diver in the Lego City Fun at the Beach set. Really think it works well.
I think the gold and grey arms look amazing, definitely use them

I like the grey doc ock arms, it kind of makes it look less Legoish
You should build the sheild and try to make it next to the statue
for dock ock you could use bruce banners torso and lieutenant gordon's legs from the new the batman sets
My idea for the shield is to have it as a separate build
I think Loki's head also works for norman Osborne
For electro I would suggest the tchalla hair or the Atlantean guard headpiece for the star/comic look
I have a tight version of that zane hairpiece
Build the shield it will be amazing and more variety.😁
You could use rope pieces tor bricks to try tethering the shield to the torch in a way so you can still see the statue's face and can be ripped down like in the movie at will or with a play feature, you can also use 1 stud 2x2 plates on the ground so you can angle the statue in a way if the shield is too difficult to work with

Yes yes yessss build the shield 🛡
I think you should make the Statue of Liberty as planned. Some other time you should make the shield (dipped in water) as a separate smaller moc/video
Definitely build it hands down build it
For sandman's hair, Finn from Star Wars' hair in tan may work well
I think you should keep the gold on the doc ock arms
You can use Macy's torso from the new Jurassic world sets 76946 for Doc ock
YES BUILD THE SHIELD PLEASE
