I visited Bali back in August '16 and stayed in Nusa Dua. I must say the weather in August was phenomenal. The temperature averaged 85 degrees, with very low humidity and no rain. 😊Nusa Dua is supposedly one of the higher-end and quieter (boring) areas of Bali. Which wasn't an issue for me given that I don't like being around drunk party animals all day/night. 🥳 Also, taking a taxi to main/livelier areas such as Kuta, et cetera is inexpensive and typically a 10-20 minute drive from Nusa Dua depending on time of day/traffic. 😊 I really need incorporate Bali into one of my future summer trips to SE Asia. I just really prefer SE Asia trips during USA winter months. 💯
Nusa Dua was great after staying in Ubud for three days. I took.a taxi to Sanur and really appreciated the tranquility and walkability of Nusa Dua. I also don't like resorts full of black out drinkers, so this was perfect.
You're welcome! After doing a lot of research, I was really pleased to find out how accessible so many of the attractions are. So much of the area could be taken in by foot.
@ Absolutely. Just finished our trip to Bali and Phuket. The people are very welcoming, sweet and very kind and blown away with their hospitality. Cheers 👍
I took a taxi to Sanur one night and it was very lively! I went to Nusa Dua after Ubud to slow down, so it was perfect for my needs. I thought businesses opened late, too. Starbucks didn't open until 10:00 a.m.☕😳
I'm in the area right now. Can you enter the place from outside and buy without residing in one of the collection hotels? I'm in the Nusa Dua Nest Hotel 😅
No one ever asked where I was staying when I made purchases or when I was walking around the area. I walked into the Mula Resort off of Geger Beach and had the concierge get a taxi for me. The Mula staff did not ask if I was a guest.
Hi Julia, I m travelling to Bali soon for the first time and stay in different locations as well as 4 days in Nusa Dua. Other than the places in the video that are walking distance, what other major attractions are fairly close by taxi? Thanks
I took a taxi to Sanur from Nusa Dua. I preferred the laid back pace of Nusa Dua. I went on the Bali Instagram tour and learned that the major sites are far from one another. My driver told me that 5 hours of the ten hour tour was spent in the car.
@@MrPhotoman1 Nusa Dua has become very popular. I found Nusa Dua very relaxing after three days in Ubud and a 10 hour tour of Bali. I considered a day trip to Nusa Penida, but decided I was enjoying the relaxation too much to leave.
Didn't now you could bargain with vendors at bali collection you are wrong been going there for year's no bargaining please respond Julie the rest of footage is pretty spot on very nice at night is the beech front safet travelling

Nice video Julia! So you can actually walk from The Westin/Sofitel all the way to Mulia, eh?
Thank you! Yes, it’s a hike, but you walk straight down the promenade until it ends.
It's a long walk!@@JuliaLives1111
@@Tilldawn911 Yes, it is a few blocks.
What is the name of the big department store you showed in the video as we have an upcoming visit to Bali and going to stay in Nusa Dua. Cheers 👍
The Sogo department store in the Bali Collection. I hope you love Bali as much as I did! The scenery is breathtaking and the people are beautiful.

@@kcsnew I would love to visit Phuket. I'm glad you enjoyed your travels❤
@@JuliaLives1111 You should if not already. ❤️
@@kcsnew I'm heading back to Spain and I think I'll go to Morocco for a few days. Maybe I'll make it to Thailand next year!
I thought the nusa dua beach was blocked off by the private resorts. Is that true or can everyone easily get to the beach?
The resorts have chairs set up on the beach, but there’s no security or anyone preventing people from walking on the beach.
Very informative thanks :)
What you can do at Nusa Dua night time all shops closes too early 😢

Do not accept the price demanded by the traffic warden .Exorbitant! Taxis will pick you up from the roadside .
Hi
I am at the St Regis Hotel at the moment, did you walk along the reef at all ?
No, do you recommend it for other travelers? I hope you’re having a fabulous time❤️
