This external hard drive is used to launch the expansions and completes that akai gives you from there ??? And if so, how is it configured in the mpc one?
No config change needed. It’s auto detected when plugged in. The expansions folder is picked up. You can navigate the disk via the browser as well. Good luck!
Hi! Thank you for the video! Are you also able to use the powerbank while recharging it? So use case would be that i am on my desk, working with the mpc while its plugged in and then i just want to unplug it and grab the mpc (without needing to power it off and then on (with the battery)). Is that possible? Thanks a ton!
Cool Vid ! 4weeks ago i i bought the same power supply and also sticked it on the back with velcro .. but one thing i didn't know is that the MPC one can read an SSD through the usb port ! So if i buy the same SSD and transfer all my files from the SD card to the SSD it will work just like the SD Card does ?
Did you have to format the ssd drive? I have a 2 TB Samsung external SSD with mpc expansions on it. I’m wondering if I plug it into my Live II or MPC X if it will delete everything. Thanks!!
@@seanhenriques808 I put it in a card reader and plugged in to the computer so I’m transferring all my sounds now. I can’t lie the Native system is as simple as 123. MPC needs to get that same system. That or I just gotta get more familiar.
@@KayezTP a long time! It’s a large capacity battery and the mpc does not draw much juice. A few weeks overall if you power the unit a few hours a day. Definitely not an iPhone lol.
@@dlegal17 i live in the UK so i had to use the German Amazon site as its not available on the UK Amazon site, it arrived in the UK in three days , no problem. Cost me 86 euros about 80 British pounds. Hope this helps
Appreciate it. Ordered over the weekend and it works so far!!! Thanks
Enjoy!

Nope that won’t work. You need an internal battery to do that I think.

Yes. I use both as storage. I fact I stick a little usb hub in the back so u can plug in multiple devices. A keyboard the ssd and a usb mixer.
I have same batter but my mpc one shuts off after 35 min when using it can't figure out wuy.
Damn I just ordered mine, I think I’m going to cancel. Can’t risk it
Strange. I guess the battery is defective.
Just curious. What brand/type of velcro did you use to get that solid lock?
This is the Velcro I used. Works very well.

It won’t delete anything when you plug it in. It will probably work if your disk is formatted correctly.

Is there anywhere to get it besides Amazon??? They always deliver my orders to the wrong address...
Mpcstuff.com now sells it.
How long does the battery last you?
