I don't know if it was bad acoustics or the orchestra that overpowered the singers but it sounded very muddy to me and I barely understood one word. It may just have been a bad recording.
It is dependent on headphones quality. I have another headphones than I have had before and the sound is also worse for me than before, because these headphones which I have now accentuate some sounds of the music more and the other sounds are weakened.
This performing arts centre actually has some features in the concert hall meant for great acoustics and these vocalists do know how to project quite well. So it must be your headphones.
