@@lordd794 Ndidi is more of and 8 then a 6. Box to box midfielder like Mainoo or Fofana. André might be able to go in offense, but he is not asked to do so. He doesn't have the licence to roam off and join the attack. André is a "regista" type CDM, a high volume distributer. Per 90 André has 82 passes with an accuracy of 94%. Ndidi has 37 passes with 80%.... Not that Ndidi isn't good. Just a very different type of player. Ndidi could be back up for Amadou Onana, more the same type. If you have ballplaying CB's that pull stats like André, than you can have a CDM like Ndidi. But if you have old school killer type CB's like Branthwaite, you'll need someone like André or Palacios to progress the ball. You can't expect Bruno to go fetch the ball from Onana. Which is kind of the main problem why we're not so disfunctional imo. You can't blame TH for this as he wanted De Jong and Timber are among the best in the world for passing/ build up. Afterwards he wanted Pavard, Todibo or Tapsoba, all very good in this aspect. We can't be a proper posession based team with only dribblers and defenders in the squad.
Excellent suggestions but improving the team in the way you suggest is not the competitive edge UTD must have . I don't think their is a cheap option. The player type must be extremely athletic with size and all the skills and be able to play all season , this just to be on par with the top 3 /4 teams . This is not just going to need an upgrade on Ericksen and Casemiro
So many recommending Wieffer as a six. I recommend doing an eye test and also look at his stats for national team and in Europe. In the national team he has been horrendous and in Europe Slot always played a 6 behind him in Zerrouki, as he was too weak to be the main 6 in European games. He might get good enough however he is not there yet.
Amadou Onana - £60m Wilfred Ndidi - Free Similar players in terms of skill set. United just need destroyers who can allow the likes of Mainoo to do what they do.
Would do something similar. Wouldn't mind Rabiot as a backup to Mainoo either. With the FFP situations and so many holes to that needs to be plugged we need to be exploit the free transfer market.
Ndidi is a relic from a period that feels like decades ago. We would be naive to even attempt to go for him when there are loads of better players out there and a few who are a bit affordable.
@@benjaminngopwaamos6878 firstly, Ndidi was being sought after two years ago as a £50m signing. Fofana from Monaco could be a great alternative. Good ball winner and physicality and pretty good on the ball. Contract expiring in 2025 too so would be available for a decent price !
our current midfield lacks legs, intensity, pace, overall physicality and defensive screening. This remains the case since its possible mainoo and Bruno could be starters next season so the cdm needs these physical attributes to provide some balance and Amadou Onana is the player that would best compliment them. His technical attributes are also very underrated. He has good positioning awareness when building up, he has the ability to drive with the ball. His switch of play is good too particularly to the right flank and his dribbling is quite good esp. for his size. He is a must.
@@mohammadsawlih3869 we will control games though... And I doubt ETH system requires a traditional "CDM". DVB and FDJ played like 8s in that Ajax side. And we saw in his first season, he didn't require Casemiro to be a static 6...

please please please! make videos like this analyzing that signings would be right for a back 3 formation! what signings could fill those roles being that it’s a different system entirely
100% agree with the profiles needed. Basically need a 6 and z 6/8. I love Palacios and Florentino the most. I was a big fan of Ugarte last summer. Onana would be a great 6 signing. Not sure about zubi or Wieffer honestly. If only making one signing, Palacios should be the guy. My vote right now would be for Florentino and Fofana. Both bring energy but Florentino brings close control and defensive work rate while Fofana brings more of a progressive carrier who also brings energy.
In terms of players...we need a lot. I would therefore aim to add depth via the free market and recruit Tosin, Welbeck and Barkley through this. Then add Todibo, Zubimendi (has a 50m release clause) and Olise. I feel this would add depth, quality and help us rebuild through a mixture of experience and youth, as this is not going to be a one window fix. Salary wise they would be on a lot less than a lot of the players we are hoping to move on this season as well. I think this would also add balance to the squad.
Amadou Onana (€60m) & Wesley Fofana (€30-35m) would be perfect as both players are technically and tactically good. Casemiro, Eriksen to leave. Mainoo, Mount etc will thrive with playing along such quality midfields who are capable of playing in a possession as well as out of possession.
Hi AJ. Would be interested to see a video discussing swap deals that could happen this summer. For example Greenwood being linked to both Barca and Juve, what players from those clubs would be a good deal for us. Thanks
The whole fan base is asking for olise and then when he comes in they will be expecting him to perform like Cole Palmer or Salah but it's not that easy for Manutd. He doesn't get it right in two games and the media negativity comes back
We need premier league experience.. and Joao Palhinha at Fulham is ideal .. excellent attitude and mentality, very good on the ball and provides great cover to the defence.. THAT IS WHAT ManUtd need over anything
I would keep Amrabat at around £20m he is ideal as cover for the 6 & 8 rolls in midfield and I would then buy Onana to play the defensive 6 role. Look out for Finlay Mcalister the captain of the U18s in 12-18 months he will be ready to be the #6 for the next decade. He has the drive, personality and charisma to wear the Captain's armband for the seniors.
Its not even about being able to win the ball back or having a bulldozer for a midfielder but we actually need midfielders that demand the ball, wanna dictate play, wanna influence the ball, happy to receive it.. i cannot stress enough the number of times in Matches that our midfielders shy away from receiving the ball hiding behind the opposition forcing onana to go long which is simply not good enough for a club as massive as man united..the mentality is so sub-par and the players really be playing like mid table players

We lack physically throughout the team so any replacements need to fix that. Onana has it, but if he doesn’t start for Everton something is wrong. I suspect he lacks game management and awareness. I think Fofana is the most realistic target. Zubimendi doesn’t seem to want a move.
no europe next season so we need to attract players who want to play for United
I'm still a fan of Boubacar Kamara. Good in the first and second phase of play in possession. Defensively super both in the duels as well as protecting space and screening.
Why would he come to 8th place team?
@@sunglee3935 I don't know. I just think he's a good player we should go for. We could ask the same question of Omar Berrada, Dan Ashworth Jason Wilcox. Why would they come to us?
@@Michael.Koulibaly we didn’t get him when he was free, typical united. I’m done with this stupid club. I’m gonna support Liverpool now
Also a big fan of Kamara
@@sunglee3935😂
Andre could be a good in possession/ high volume player
And realistic and affordable as well 👌
Florentino, Palacios, Zubimendi, Stiller, Neves etc. are all unrealistic imo. Either out of budget or they don't want to come as we aren't in Europe/CL, or because we are way behind in scouting and taking to players. Most cases: all of the above...
I would go for Ndidi on a free transfer, as starter, and sign Andre as backup at cdm.
Zubamendi
Barella
Dejong
Amadou Onana - £60m
Wilfred Ndidi - Free
Similar players in terms of skill set. United just need destroyers who can allow the likes of Mainoo to do what they do.
Would do something similar. Wouldn't mind Rabiot as a backup to Mainoo either. With the FFP situations and so many holes to that needs to be plugged we need to be exploit the free transfer market.
@@Skauwgrabiot won't be a back up, he would start 🤷🏾♂️
Why would PSG sell Ugarte after a year of settling in and why would he want to leave for Man Utd next season
He is being touted as one of two signings in the number 6 role, much like Jorginho at Arsenal or Kovacic at Man City. Given that money is tight he offers great value for money and enables us to go big on another midfield signing
Joao Neves has to be midfield #1 priority. He looks like a generational talent at 19, amazed he's not included. Get him and Mainoo beside each other to develop.
too expensive my man
too expensive, very young and not Physical beast. you want to partner him with Mainoo? dang
@@FPL_Habesha i know this wouldnt happen but Neves is able to play like an 8,10 with ball maino is also more attacking imagine Onana at 6 maino and neves both at 8. I reckon would work with Garnacho and a different passing oriented RW
@@benjansens8595 if we could get Neves along side a very Physical CDM someone like Onana or Palhina it would be great. but we have to many problems to cherry pick talents for 100+ mill
@@FPL_Habesha i disagree, i feel its going to be a 4 year project even more! each season I feel like we should pick 3 young amazing players slowly build up. that's how it should be done in my opinion
For me the number 1 player has to be Zubimendi cause he's the most all rounded and would instantly start but the problem is a lot of good clubs are interested in him which would make him hard to get(we've got no CL football putting us at a significant disadvantage)As for the other options I would like to see a video on Palacios and Ugarte(Onana scares me not only because of his price tag but also he's not been starting for Everton. As for Weiffer I just feel we should have learnt our lesson by now about the eredivise
Why not get Barella and Veratti loan
@@KailamiMwiinga They are not CDMs and we need height too
@@mohammadsawlih3869 we will control games though... And I doubt ETH system requires a traditional "CDM". DVB and FDJ played like 8s in that Ajax side. And we saw in his first season, he didn't require Casemiro to be a static 6...
@@KailamiMwiinga that was in the dutch league which we know is very low quality. Every top team has a top cdm that are capable ball winners who are also technical. Onana isnt a traditional DM either hes played as an 8 and 6 and is a hybrid type midfielder aswell as mainoo
Just realised that all of our fan base is talking to sell rashford i also want him sold but i dont think garnacho is still yet the one to become our main lw his performance is just bad it might be because he is being over used but he is lacking very much on many things and he needs to massively improve his crossing
Ugarte has struggled technically at PSG
I can also recommend Yacine Adli for regista role since he's available for an affordable price and his stats are really great. He's in the age profile that ten Hag can mold to his liking.
Apparently khephram thuram is available at a cheap price. ❤
Yeah I would think we should consider him.
He's at Nice do we'd have the same problem as todibo
please please please! make videos like this analyzing that signings would be right for a back 3 formation! what signings could fill those roles being that it’s a different system entirely
What are your thoughts on Pepelu at Valencia? Good age (25) and having a good season in La Liga
Thanks
Alen varela of porto and hujmund or pepelu is my options
Out: mctominay, Eriksen, Amrabat, Casemiro
Stay: Bruno, mount, mainoo
In: kepheren Thuram, Youssouf fofana, Joey veernam/ ross Barkley
Great suggestions! My biggest fear is who would want to come to this dysfunctional team?
I hope we will have some luck with the effort put into the transfer window...in particular the selling of players.
That's what I always tell my mates 🤜🤛 very well said
The whole fan base is asking for olise and then when he comes in they will be expecting him to perform like Cole Palmer or Salah but it's not that easy for Manutd. He doesn't get it right in two games and the media negativity comes back
We need premier league experience.. and Joao Palhinha at Fulham is ideal .. excellent attitude and mentality, very good on the ball and provides great cover to the defence.. THAT IS WHAT ManUtd need over anything
Bayern have him
I would keep Amrabat at around £20m he is ideal as cover for the 6 & 8 rolls in midfield and I would then buy Onana to play the defensive 6 role.
Equi Fernandez Boca jr's,Pablo Maia Sao Paulo,Andre Fluminese, Gabriel Menino Palmeiras, CM/RB Oscar Zambrano are solid cheap options in South America another young prospect that looks promising is Tyler Morton at Hull City worth looking at AJ
Outside shout for DM, Wouter Burger

What you think about rabiot just because he’s available on a free ???
We're picking up rabiot but i think he'll be second choice after Ugarte
We want to Cash on at least 10 players in the summer. Like Greenwood, Sancho, Malacia, Mount, Bruno, VDB, Maguire, Lindelof Pellistri & Antony etc.. & recruit at least 6 - 8 players this summer e.g.2CB, 2CM, RW & ST!
Then we can seriously challenge for league Next season!
Even with those signings we will be a long way short. Under very special circumstances will we be able to, besides there are other teams we will be competing against in case you need reminding and they have being building sustainable teams, Man City, Arsenal maybe even Liverpool. I will say though buying the right players and selling wisely can set us in that direction of eventually contending for the league at best. Buying an obscene amount of players isn't the answer. The aim of the game is to recruit young and build for the future.
@@JadeJeftha-t9u We want to be challenging for the league next season not delay tactics like Tuchel or Southgate or Potter or DeZerbi or mismanaging EtH cos we'll be better off with Ole or Outsider like Zidane than EtH cos he lacks people skills meaning wrong type of manager to take charge of our club.
The best advice we're prepare to offer is EtH & his team should pack their bags & go back to Ajax or Bayern to reinvent himself!

@@bryngefferies7530 Yeah I agree. We can't delay the process by holding on to "deadwood" or the semblance of sentimentality towards what once was and/or could have been with some of these players, i.e. Rashford, Mctominay etc. I do however have to be a voice of reason when I say challenging for the league doesn't need to be delusional. As a fanbase can we atleast agree that the other teams are ahead of us and in order to get where they are we would need to get players in that are befitting to the strategy needed to win. Nothing comes by wishful thinking or the notion that "We are Man United" and by that are entitled to a seat at the table.
Lets keep it in the family as you say and recruit staff and footballers that bely the ethoes of the great club. Hardworking, energetic, attack-attack football and young driven footballers is needed at this club.

@@JadeJeftha-t9uAt present we're only at least a couple of years behind the top 3 but we should be only 1 year or equal by now but due to EtH over spending & not bringing in the necessary players to give us the depth to deal with a 65 game season.
This is what Ronaldo wanted the club to have a chance to succeed but EtH is the reason why we've lost so many games at the half way point cos he was hanging his players out to dry & he's at fault for 8 out of the 14 losses due to poor summer transfers where we want 6 players & only got 3, poor decisions making, poor preparations, poor assessment, poor team selection, poor squad usages & poor In-game management so his Job is definitely under review due to his underperformance as Manager of our Club.
Conclusion
We recruit EtH to come to our Club as an Approved Coach cos he definitely isn't a Manager in our books so he deserves the Sack so It's best for EtH & his team to pack their bags & go back to Ajax to reinvent himself & bring back Ole & his new management team (Ole & his 3 wise men)!

Now the hype has cleared out, and my question still remains: what does Mainoo excel at, what is his best role and his most valuable ability?
A lot that you wouldn't know just think about prime Thiago alcantara so many similarities
Can you please cover Hjulmand from Sporting Lisbon in your future videos ?
Top player.
We are all know Mainoo not number 6. Hes more likely number 8.
I wouldn't play with Mount at the 6/8 Mainoo position. I don't think he is a deeper midfielder. What about Kephren Thuram, one of the 6 you suggested and maybe André. Thuram can cover at the 6. Without buying André you'd probably have to rely on another youthplayer or Mount, which is okay for me.
All these options sound expensive and from what we're hearing, we're going to have a tight budget for the summer. I wish we can get at least one of them. My personal favourites are Onana and Zubamendi. Neves is my wish list, but I know we can't afford him. I think someone like Carrick will be the most ideal. Haha maybe we can get him out of retirement! Jokes.
i would like João Gomes and Youssef fofana. our whole team needs a rebuild. i don't know if INEOS are going to sign that many players, we cant just sign players for the sake of it, i would rather prioritise certain positions and fill the rest with youth
What about Ndidi/Rabiot/Fofana
Also, my wish is that United will get Anselmino, world class ceiling CB, probably low price compared to european CB targets. United should buy him and then loan him out to Nice. Smart business.
