    In the majors, a 400 foot blast is impressive. Hitting one beyond 500 feet is special, and puts Jac in a very exclusive club.

      Curious if there’s a way to do a calculation to figure out what a 500’ hr would be with a wood bat. Great swing tho, not coming up thru the ball, swings down and level thru kinda like Giancarlo Stanton but with Bryce Harper body movement forward thru ball.

      BBCOR has come a long way, but the NCAA has def juiced the baseballs a bit to 'even' the playing field. 7/8 yrs ago no doubters off the bat were barely clearing the wall. Anyway its good for game. 100mph heaters and 500ft nukes 🎉

      Throw in a powereful lower body and this is what you get. I've always wondered what kind of bombs Cags would be hitting if he could work out his upper body (still strong) similar to his lower body. Maybe we'll find out in a few years if pitching doesn't work out for him.

      They're not using the old aluminum bats. These bats are built to resemble wooden bats. Doesn't matter, though, as Cags will be demolishing baseballs at the next level too.

George Brett's company was actively in talks with MLB about switching to composite bats several years ago, so they are open to the possibility.

      Metal bats are so regulated at that level, that it is not much of an improvement over a wood bat. Obviously it still goes farther, but nothing nearly that drastic.

      Cags has that covered too. He hit over 30 last season and is running 2nd in the NCAA in HR's to date this season. He also tied the NCAA record recently wit 9 consecutive games with a HR. Consistancy is no stranger to this man.
