That would have been a Homer either way but remember ball will jump way faster off aluminum bat..I played baseball all my life..everyone used aluminum bats..I always stayed w the lumber..when you rip one I feel it's a true hit and power.
Curious if there’s a way to do a calculation to figure out what a 500’ hr would be with a wood bat. Great swing tho, not coming up thru the ball, swings down and level thru kinda like Giancarlo Stanton but with Bryce Harper body movement forward thru ball.
@@321gates That's a Demarini The Goods he hit that with. They are listed as alloy. Different thing from composite. The Goods bats have way more pop than wood bats.
BBCOR has come a long way, but the NCAA has def juiced the baseballs a bit to 'even' the playing field. 7/8 yrs ago no doubters off the bat were barely clearing the wall. Anyway its good for game. 100mph heaters and 500ft nukes 🎉
Moronic announcer. Launch angle refers to the baseball. Swing path / Plane and direction refers to the hitters swing dynamics. And IT WAS NOT DOWN AND THROUGH. Unfortunate old timers. Retire, adapt or die.
Cags has that covered too. He hit over 30 last season and is running 2nd in the NCAA in HR's to date this season. He also tied the NCAA record recently wit 9 consecutive games with a HR. Consistancy is no stranger to this man.
Throw in a powereful lower body and this is what you get. I've always wondered what kind of bombs Cags would be hitting if he could work out his upper body (still strong) similar to his lower body. Maybe we'll find out in a few years if pitching doesn't work out for him.
People in Kauffman will have posters of the baby from The Incredibles every time he hits a home run. Like if you understand that I'm a dad.
Unreal power. He and Bobby Witt are going to be fun to watch together!
Here after he got drafted 👇
the royals selected him 6th overall. Good luck to him
We can develop hitter fine pitchers not so much. This guy will be the next royals DH bet on it.
He’s a royal LFG
That’s not a piss missile, that’s a piss nuke
G is silent, you’re welcome.
That is ridiculous. I'm impressed he can swing as hard as he does and make contact consistently. Gifted hitter who will be a long time MLB slugger.
Look out face on the scoreboard?
"Hi everybody! My name's Jac and I hit TANKS."
It's an aluminum bat...the don't use them in MLB for safety....imagine if Stanton was allowed to use an aluminum bat😮
He's gonna look good in a Red Sox uniform.
Another jax for jax against jax
Aluminum bat. When he switches to wood, he will hit like everybody else.
Metal bat
why aren't colleges using wooden bats?
This man needs to be in the big leagues.
He will be in a year.
Nice pitch
Well he threw a fastball and right down the middle, at perfect height for hitting.. did he think he was pitching for a home run derby contest??
UGAs Condon vs Caglianone for #1 pick.
Think chop off 50 feet
He swings like Jim Thome & Ken Griffrey Jr combined
That would have been a Homer either way but remember ball will jump way faster off aluminum bat..I played baseball all my life..everyone used aluminum bats..I always stayed w the lumber..when you rip one I feel it's a true hit and power.
Those aluminum bats launched some balls. I saw some leave the gravitational pull of the earth and are still in orbit😊
Metal bat… enough said
alr bro wood bat goes 490
College baseball needs to start using wooden bats. That would have barely cleared the fence.
it would’ve went prolly 490
He didn't leave the yard. He left the County!
In the majors, a 400 foot blast is impressive. Hitting one beyond 500 feet is special, and puts Jac in a very exclusive club.
Aluminum bats?
@@arumforyou Yes. I know. It doesn't diminish his feat. It was a titanic home run.
y’all are both right in your own way

@@arumforyouyeah probably only 485 with a wood bat. He needs to get in the weight room! 😂
They use Aluminum bats If you can hit a ball 300 feet with a wood bat, it will travel over 500 feet with aluminum.
464' max
480 easily
What the hell was that camerawork
Metal bat. End loaded
wood bat goes 490
It's a Demarini The Goods, so yes, end loaded. And The Goods bats do have a lot of pop if you are strong enough to swing them.
Lefty on lefty crime to boot.
HOLY FUCK
Very humble kid.
Still using aluminum bats?
No. Composite, which mirror wooden bats.
@@321gates That's a Demarini The Goods he hit that with. They are listed as alloy. Different thing from composite. The Goods bats have way more pop than wood bats.
Oh right they use aluminum bats in college
lol, sure they do "smart" guy.
doesn’t really make a difference
Those aluminum bats are wonderful.

Exactly!
@@ELcinegatto87 Good for the game? College baseball is unwatchable.
Wood bats please come on
Rumor has it the ball is still rolling...
The “USA, USA, USA” chants at the end 🤣🤣
Bunch of ‘tards 😂
We gotta stop giving grown men trampolines to hit with.
Never heard of a composite bat I take it.
it gives 3-4 extra exit velo
Perfect swing.
DeMarini advertisement 🙃
saw him play in Jacksonville. Imposing figure on the field, and incredible athlete. hope he stays healthy and has a long pro career.
Moronic announcer. Launch angle refers to the baseball. Swing path / Plane and direction refers to the hitters swing dynamics. And IT WAS NOT DOWN AND THROUGH. Unfortunate old timers. Retire, adapt or die.
Still Joe Morgan hit short home runs they counted the same two time mvp lol who cares how far

He Lenny Kravitz'ed that ball. I wanna Fly Away...
Booo
That's what happens when you get a perfect swing full extension and drive and hitting the sweet spot on the bat

Can’t even see it
