This is a little jewel ... I have spent many years trying to get the original soundtrack for the movie of the same name 'Band Of The Hand' released in April 1986 by Paul Michael Glaser (the same Starsky & Hutch). The movie was nominated to Stinkers Bad Movie Awards of 1986 but sadly it was the second worst film (lol). Dylan wrote and recorded the song in Sydney, 9-10 February 1986, with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers during their 1986 True Confessions Tour : Down Under . Stevie Nicks plays chorus vocals . The released film version is longer than the single release and it is also mixed differently. As single has on the side B a non-Dylan song, an instrumental title called 'Joe's Death' by Michael Rubini (?). Thanks for posting.
Wow! The backing singers are almost as good as Dylan. He knows how to write, how to sing, how to play, and how to pick his support crew. The best ever, Bob Dylan.
@@victorspell1 Actually, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were with Bob Dylan. And then the Travelling' Wilburys were born - the Supergroup of supergroups. Still cry when listening to Roy, George and Tom.
