Greg, best way to remove trapped air easily without any tools is to run the truck up onto your trailer deck just the front wheels , let it sit at an angle running rear wheels on the ground front on trailer , run it just above idle with the rad cap off and top off coolant as the level drops . I’ve done this If you times to get all the air out . It was great meeting you at the YT callout Saturday .
Thanks Greg a for haveing Tom show us the the tricks to the ve pump this will help me get my truck preforming so much better and then I can make good power on the waste oil
Awesome awesome video Greg A got to learn some VE Pump tricks lol nice that made a huge difference already and best part about it all is it was all free lol and I can’t wait to see what it’ll do on the road now lol and on the track lol
Great vidjas Greg A!! I have to admit I’m a ford guy but really enjoy watching and learning new things on dodges and Cummings!! You do a great job explaining everything out for everyone to get it great job and keep up the great work
Pop the crimp collar off the full fuel screw and bottom that thing, I/C pumps rarely run away. Might wanna put a smear of grease on that fuel pin also, helps to tell you what type of travel you're getting. Also, take an appropriately sized flat punch and tap the fuel regulator valve in by about .020 thousandths of and inch, it'll bump your case pressure up a bit which will help with the injection timing.
Greg get a Compucheck fittings for the trans and your gauge hose thats what we use at cummins to diagnose fuel problems and you can leave it in for future adjustments because im gunna bet thats not the last time your going to adjust it lol. 👍
Sweet, I am a 7.3 guy and still like watching you stuff. May try a 12 valve next, thinking a pre computer economy setup for bio. Keep sharing the great info.
At the part you say "full pedal travel" and tap the throttle lever. Take that throttle shaft ball stud off and move it to the hole the spring is hooked on. Put return spring into the hole the ball stuff was originally in (furthest out). NOW you have full pedal travel. Think, smaller throttle shaft, same pedal movement=more fuel per throttle pressed.
Great vid Greg been watching since day one and all your vids are good to watch, best part I dont have to wait for the next season to start. Keep it up bud
if you remove that pipe plug beside the thermostat housing that might let the air trapped in the motor behind the thermostat escape or take a heater line off.
I know the pap scrap isn't goin wild in the fuel department yet, but I'm thinkin Greg A will be surprised by the firsty when he finally gets to Sendit. The killer Muldoon and the caltracs are gonna plant hard and that will be a fun video blastin around like the 05 street pulls lol
Digging ya vids Greg, but please grab an angle grinder and rip the corners of that transmission crossmember before either you or one of your buddies, smashes into it when working underneath your rig. Can see some nasty injuries off that......
So if I backed out the throttle bolt and it had full travel and backed out the start wheel flush to the top threads, and put it back together, how much on the fuel screw on the back of the pump must I turn
Michael Morey were gonna get more into that next time I fully tune it. We ran out of light and time. It's a lot of test and tune. Gotta reindeer the throttle shaft next time too to get all the fuel. Stay tuned! I'm starting my own channel too greasingcrowsracing
greg a makes me a lazy employee for 15 minutes everyday
Tristan Newsome thats right
Whenever anyone catches me watching these videos I always say I’m on a 10 minute coffee break!!!!
What about the other 7.75 hrs? :P

You can drive the front tiers up on a couple of blocks to get the front of the engine up to helpbleed the cooling system.

Tom's truck sounds awesome!

Sweet, I am a 7.3 guy and still like watching you stuff. May try a 12 valve next, thinking a pre computer economy setup for bio. Keep sharing the great info.
Turn your heater on high when your letting it idle to get that air bubble out
Gus Lowe the water doesn't go through the heater core any faster on high
Been following you since your first videos, love your Chanel!

Saw you going by in Mexico. The 1st Gen has a nice whistle. 👍
Best channel ever
Great vid Greg been watching since day one and all your vids are good to watch, best part I dont have to wait for the next season to start. Keep it up bud
Good morning my dudes
Park the front of the 1 gen on the ramps to help bleed the coolant.
Did any one else cringe when the flat had slipped on that star nut?!?!?!

Wesley Truax that’s why that plug is there, it’s designed to be taken out to relieve air
Hey Greg this video has been super helpful cause i am about to do the same thing to my first gen!! Love the vids!! Two thumbs up!
Let's get a walk around of Tom's 12v! (Unless you already have I can't remember lol)

Come on fans. Share Greg A’s name. Let’s get him to 100k. He’s so close.
Congrats on becoming a dad Greg A
That pressure switch taped to the glass 😂😂😂
Permanent like button achievement unlocked...and I don't even own a diesel truck.
Love the first gen!
Great video... now my day is complete, G’night yall
Just a slight comparison. My self built 47re has 150psi until i hit lock up and it climbs to 175 psi line pressure
Digging ya vids Greg, but please grab an angle grinder and rip the corners of that transmission crossmember before either you or one of your buddies, smashes into it when working underneath your rig. Can see some nasty injuries off that......
Greg, what kinda of cabinets are in your garage?
greg a i wish you would work on my truck have had it to 3 diffrent shops still no luck i need some greg a magic

@greg_alberalla where did you get your underhood LED light at?
Greg your the man!!! I'm sick today laying in the bed which sucks but your videos always makes the day better
In previous videos With the first gen running I've allways thought there was something wrong it sounded too loopy.....now it sounds just right
Omar Hernandez idle was too low before and not enough fuel but now we're making some progress.
Greasing Crows Racing sounds much more healthier now nice job man you should make content too and spread your knowledge on UA-cam
Omar Hernandez that's the plan! I'm just having some trouble coming up with an intro
Love the channel..... have aftermarket rims/tires on 2015 6.7 ram any idea how to get the low tire light off all tires /psi good
Tyler Smith the tps sensors are messed up or none at all it means nothing just ignore it
Why do you always put your trucks in tow haul ? What does it consist in ?
Greg a run away coming soon.
Are You Gonna Get Spacers For The Front?
At 7:16 you can see Tom looks to be a fan of the red dye diesel lmao
SOHCNightmare I run dyed diesel lol
IM NOT CRITIKAL doesn't hurt my feelings one bit lol.
just a wee note almost all transmissions, and shifters need to be in neutral to get "adjusted" to the selector properly....just sayin'
nice Greg 🤘🤘

His truck is faster than your friend with the white mega cab.
Jason Gentry non intercooled too! That's gonna be one of the videos I make soon
Nice!
You’ll get better throttle response if you move the ball over to the next hole
1989_dodge_ w250_ that also makes the pedal a little stiff, at least it did on my truck..... a lighter spring helps
We're going to move the ball next time when we fully turn her up and reindeer the throttle shaft
Those first 10 seconds should be the new intro
6.0 at 4:21
Rite on buddy killer vid cant wait to see that thing get nasty
I liked before the Ad was over.

Dudes killing me using the straight screwdriver on the throttle stop, get a socket and an electric ratchet man lol
Erock89x there was no hex head or I would have lol
Greasing Crows Racing sorry, but it looks like there's a nut threaded on the screw that's turning
Yeah there was I thought you meant where the screwdriver was lol my bad
