    Great reviews! Looking into purchasing a Hoyt but all demo bows have a wisker biscuit on them, so I'm wondering if that QAD drop away cable is coming in contact with the rear riser at full draw?

    • @PMOUTDOORS24
      @PMOUTDOORS24  5 років тому +1

      I’ve seen them do that but never seen a negative effect on the bridge of the riser. Wouldn’t let that deter me from buying one if that’s holding you up. You could do a limb driven and avoid that concern as well 👌

    How much difference do you get with 80lb draw vs 70lbs

    Hi Garrett, just curious when you keep mentioning " compared to last year" with regard to vibration etc, just curious if it has already been asked but, which bow are you comparing to since the Axius is a new model? Helix? speaking of Helixes (I own one in bone collector blackout and LOVE it) will you be doing one on the Helix turbo?

    • @PMOUTDOORS24
      @PMOUTDOORS24  5 років тому +1

      Yeah last years models is what I’m comparing them to thanks for asking! I plan on doing a review when the turbos come out, probably be a few weeks 🤘

    Brandon here from Pacific Northwest outdoors, looking at getting a new bow for next season that shoots a little faster than the bow I have currently. I’ve seen a lot of your videos where would you suggest I start looking for first with some of these new bows for easier draw but still shoots faster?

    • @PMOUTDOORS24
      @PMOUTDOORS24  5 років тому +1

      These PSE went slower this year but the evokes were fast and shoot great plus you could save money now that the new models are out. That’s currently what I’m shooting. The revolt X would be a good bet for you as well.

    Awesome reviews as always,what’s your favourite in the 33-34 inch ata so far this year

      If you count the PSE Mach 1 that’s my favorite. Next would be the revoltx

    So plugging the specs/speed in an arrow speed calculator its 7fps below IBO with the lighter arrow hits IBO with the 535 arrow and is 14 FPS ABOVE IBO with the 640Gr arrow. That 640gr arrow should be going 220fps. Not bad Hoyt!

    • @PMOUTDOORS24

      Yeah bows gain efficiency with heavier arrows. Thanks for watching man!

    Can you do the regular axious and the helix turbo when available. I want to know the differences between speed.

    Does anybody do reviews on 60lb bows 28in draw (Hoyt RX4)? Hint hint. I’m getting some age on me and having a little trouble with my shoulders and I’m not ready for a crossbow yet.

      I don’t think anyone does, but when the number 2 cams drop I may be able to get that done

  • @eriklarson84

    What cam? #2 or #3? Seems a little slow. 458 should be closer to 280fps...

    • @PMOUTDOORS24
      @PMOUTDOORS24  5 років тому

      #3 cam. I thought so as well

    • @eriklarson84
      @eriklarson84 5 років тому +1

      Garrett Weaver that’s why. Historically the #3 cam near the bottom has been 5-10fps (sometimes more) slower than the #2 cam near the top.

    • @JS-ji5bl
      @JS-ji5bl 5 років тому

      The rx4 was 278 in you test so this one was only 3 fps slower?

    • @PMOUTDOORS24
      @PMOUTDOORS24  5 років тому +1

      Erik Larson I’ve got a video comparing a #2 and #3 cam at the same specs and There’s a difference but I didn’t see that large of one. I will say the draw adjustments off the top of my head should put this one towards the middle of the cam. But, I agree with ya👊

    • @vm859
      @vm859 5 років тому

      Its slow with the lighter arrow but hits IBO with the 535 and is way faster with the 640. 2 cam would be even better if youre 30 or below.

    Be careful, the way you draw the bow is a great indicator that the draw weight is too much for you.
