Hey Ben, I was a Resorts World October 1-3 and you are so right, the room is great, chairs are awesome, card and not bent and the action was good. Great room, I hope they do well after the series is over.
"Most comfortable chairs...[at Resorts World]" High praise considering the Atlantis. I played at the Atlantis last weekend too, after introducing myself to you at the Peppermill during your short Friday late afternoon session. Nice meeting you there. Ended up a profitable trip for my first time in Reno. Thanks again for the vlogs!
I will tell you one effect the WSOP has..... the cash game waiting lists at the casinos are so over crowded that you'll be eligible for social security by the time your name is called !
Love your content Mr. Ben thank you for sharing your poker knowledge with us. I’m actually a crane and rigging supervisor loves the N.L. Hold’em game. I’m in Houston Texas working a job and playing poker at all the poker club’s on my days off and sometimes after work. Playing 1 3 N. L. But the game plays way way bigger. I’m on a big upswing and that info you just gave me is definitely great information thank you.
Wow, not sure if you noticed, but on that J-9 clubs hand, the 10 clubs for your straight flush was the third burn card. Always nice to book a win. I'm heading out to Vegas for a week this Thursday, hopefully to run as good as you!
It’s interesting watching this vlog versus watching Rampage or Mariano. You play a very solid style (borderline nitty) and are very disciplined with game selection and appear to manage your poker bankroll in a way where there is little volatility. I watch those other guys channels and they have very little interest in letting the game come to them or doing much grinding in a session and every 3rd vlog is “shot taking” time in a $50/$100 game. If I was forced to put $100k as an investment over a 3 year period behind you or them I would not think twice on picking you knowing I would probably average 15-20% annual return from you whereas those guys might get me 50% return in a month but would likely lose it all over the period
Your reporting experience certainly shows in your videos, you have me focused from the first words til the last, I don't think you'll ever have to worry about being unemployed until you choose to, very nice!
hey Ben. it was nice running into you at RW, I was the guy that tapped you on your shoulder to start a conversation about how I went to Peppermill looking to meet you. how long are you staying in vegas?
Thanks Ben! Love your vlogs! Your professional news reporter/anchor experience is evident in your work and is definitely a plus for you. So how hard do you have to work on the news desk to not slip out some of those one liner jokes (dungeons and dragons action) during a broadcast!?😂
Hey Ben - you should speak to Bart about slow-playing those monsters preflop. It's really hard to get AA or KK. When you get a chance to put more money in, I think you should do so nearly 100% of the time. The only time I'm pretty sure it's correct to slow down is with aces, when you're *in* position, *and* you can be sure that the rest of the chips can go in on the flop. But in both your AA and KK hands, I think you stopped the raising too early preflop. Yes, it seemed like it probably worked out with the kings (and was an epic fail with the aces) but you and I both know that what happened this one time doesn't matter. Anyway, great content, love the consistency and commentary. And especially the intro b-roll "Here we are in Las Vegas" and I'm all "This doesn't look like Las Vegas. At least not any part I hang out in."
Excellent video. I would’ve went all in with the Kings. I rather win $600 Vs. 0. A 100 bet seemed too small. I think he may have had pocket 10s or queens. Either way, nice pot! Maybe he had AK? Definitely a possibility too!
you played well except the check raise with set of AA vs the agro player....have the discipline to check call there..then check blind the river..that always fucks up people like that
Curious to know if you think extracting 100 was worth it when the pot was over 1k already. Personally, i would shove 600 in just like i would i had AK, mid pp, or other bluffs. It polarizes my image in the long run. but cant fault you for getting that value tho.
LOVE IT...I sit for hours upon hours and don't get dealt half the hands you have shown. I once sat for 6 hours and was NEVER dealt a pocket pair...what are those odds?
The hand you had j9 of clubs and you turned a flush with the ace of clubs, I believe the dealer burned the 10 of clubs before the River loll. You can kinda see it if you freeze it right when he’s burning it. You woulda made a straight flush!!
Mr Deach I would like to officially give you the nick name "Knish" from the movie Rounders. After watching this vlog and the way you methodically grind and work at your craft. In addition you also look a little bit like the character Joey Knish. I hope this nick name sticks because I believe poker is about the long hall and lasting the lifetime marathon which I believe you Mr Ben Deach embodies. Good luck and "may your card be live and your pots be monsters" Mike Stetson.
Do you consider that those 1/10 pot river bets aren't actually worth gaining the extra hundy and more valuable information to all of your opponents? Only one player pays a hundred bucks and the remaining four at the table see your cards for free.
Ben you are IMHO a great player, always love your strategy and just your mentality about the game! That being said, when you complain about the board not pairing for you it makes you sound like a fish on tilt
@Ben Jidin then you must have an extremely low bar when seeking out intelligence….or you just do not read any books… i think you are being slightly hyperbolic. These are not intelligent words by Jeffry. Any joe who has a Facebook, Twitter, or UA-cam account has seen an iteration of these words dozens of time. Crypto used to be a recondite asset within investing circles. Now it borders on common knowledge
At 4:31 the 10 of clubs was the burn card before the river and you caught it on camera!
Deach! Your commentary is undefeated.
You reporting is excellent. No bull just core reporting. Love it.
Best poker Vlog on UA-cam by far!
Like getting action in a bar with a dungeon and dragons shirt on 🤣 excellent! And too bad that semi didn’t have the e-brake on!
😂😂😂
I feel like "young Asian guy playing aggressively" is in all your vlogs LOL
Hey Ben, I was a Resorts World October 1-3 and you are so right, the room is great, chairs are awesome, card and not bent and the action was good. Great room, I hope they do well after the series is over.
I'm 3 minutes in and smiling like crazy already. I will always believe this vlog is the best.

Ben The Shark...takes down another session.
I play 1/3 and I’m currently on the longest winning streak of my life. 10 winning sessions in a row. Vegas action is insane right now during WSOP.
how you not go on tilt is how you do sports like golf , bowling, martial arts, or work like sales; you learn how to focus and keep your focus.
I have a strange enjoyment of seeing those beautiful new chips. I need to get my hands on them.
I will tell you one effect the WSOP has..... the cash game waiting lists at the casinos are so over crowded that you'll be eligible for social security by the time your name is called !
Thank you kind sir. The Anchorman is one of the best!

Saw that as well, one card from the straight flush. It's at 4:31.
@@usagipaige5377 how do you even notice that in real-time

@Jrdfgy Krtysf nah but in real-time it looks like you can't even get a glimpse of the card

Best 2-5 game in Vegas during wsop is rio poker room next to. Sports book.

Did ya'll notice the burn card for the river was the Ten of clubs! damn would have had a straight flush to Jack
I saw that!
Very nice Ben!!!!
Love your videos the best out there
I’m in Vegas for a month staying at Nellis. I’ll be spending many hours at the tables.
Way to start a trip. I like resorts room and those chairs are cushy
If you stop @4:31 you can see that the card the dealer burned before showing the River was indeed the 10 of clubs 😮 So close to a straight flush!!!!
Most of us trust your evaluation. Soon as they lift the mask/Covid stuff, I’m there. Thx man

If you slow down at 4:30 your 10 of club was the burn card making u miss your straight 😳

You often get tricky from time to time 🤣 I’m stoned while listening but I’m pretty sure you can’t do something often if you do it from time to time 🤣
My vlogs are good to watch while stoned
Question of the day...what was a typical electric bill before??? and what is your typical bill now???
at 4:30 you can see the dealer burn the 10 of clubs for the straight flush. so close....
LOVE IT...I sit for hours upon hours and don't get dealt half the hands you have shown. I once sat for 6 hours and was NEVER dealt a pocket pair...what are those odds?
Then you get a pair of JJ cracked by 444.
I once got dealt 37 straight pocket pairs without hitting a set. I think that's also some kind of record.
The hand you had j9 of clubs and you turned a flush with the ace of clubs, I believe the dealer burned the 10 of clubs before the River loll. You can kinda see it if you freeze it right when he’s burning it. You woulda made a straight flush!!
I noticed that as well, fairly certain that burn card was the 10c.
Leave emotions in the parking lot and variant in playing styles will stay there with it.
Ben, audio level is a bit low.
I think you should try to get a job in LV.

Ben is better than Joey was.
That's a free water dispenser?
Could turning on the vlogging when you have a decent hand be a tell to the other players?
The video is constantly rolling. Vloggers just clip the important hands.
Speaking of poker vloggers anyone know what happened to Poker Beast and Andrew Lok?
4:30 he burned your straight flush card
How much has watching CLPoker everyday improved your poker game Ben?
Immensely. It definitely more than doubled my win rate.
Go giants 😎
Awwwww they went somewhere alright
