Esperanza is big Cuban revolution vibes my dude, especially with city blocks locked down too! Guards everywhere and tanks and hummers, its a crazy place man!

Man I went to this spot in the day time, blew up three trucks and this tank showed up before I even became hunted. Just hit it with an EMP arrow and highjacked it with no problems, no one even chasing me. Was hunting for this tank for a while and this video got me one on the first try in less than 5 minutes lol. 👍👍👍
Woo thank you so much! I was nervous about getting this tank but I went to Ventura Villa like you recommended and caused a bunch of chaos and 10 minutes later I've unlocked this elite tank on my first try!
Was WAY easier than unlocking the similarly elite 1968 Garin Varona CT helicopter which literally took me 7 separate attempts to unlock and by the end I was about ready to thrown my copy of Far Cry 6 out the window out of frustration! Easily the hardest vehicle in the entire game to unlock!

Thanks! At first i gained my heat somewhere else but the tank just wouldn't spawn even though i was wanted. Then i gained heat from the place you were doing it and it worked! Had some trouble hijacking it at first but eventually got it. Thank you do much this thing is such a beast!
Kinda makes sense that it's the better tank, too. Those little rectangular boxes on the front glacis of the tank? That's Explosive Reactive Armor plates. They don't... actually work in game, as far as I can see, but it translates into "better armor" in game stats.
Tanks for creating and sharing this video. For those guerillas new to FC 6, make sure to obtain the Scrounger Helmet (Scavenger Sense: tags loot containers through walls), Scrounger Coat (Resolver Scavenger: Acquire additional crafting materials when looting containers) and Scrounger Jeans (Super Tool: Automatically repairs vehicles when inside).

In the Mission 'Stealing Thunder' you have to steal this tank, just drive it to a pickup point and then complete the mission.

far cry's 7 releases next year imagine how massive the map is going to be i miss throwing rocks instead of baseballs especially stabbing the enemies with my rifle like new dawns hopefully ubisoft takes us back to montana!
I agree, a far cry5 prequel but bigger map more guns more customization and more vehicles. Tanks jets motorcycles. Better melee weapons better mechanics better multiplayer and co op

You can also get this tank by doing the stealing thunder mission the tank you steal is a elite varient and you can bring it too any vehicle pickup point around the area and get the tank

The Yaran Story with Zenia involves stealing an Elite Tank. You go past a vehicle drop off. Park it there for s few seconds to unlock it before taking it to Zenia.

When you are escapeing with Espada after you met there is an elite tank and if you hijac it you can just follow her with it to the montero farm (it wont despawn after the cutscene starts)
With the autorepair cargo pants youre basically invincible in a tank.
Thanks for the video took me 40 dam mins of trying to find it to check youtube most of the videos dont tell you shit this one found me one btw you dont need to get heat to find this tank drive around the city on the outside find a tank use the Supremo that allows you to shoot through walls and the gun that came with it clear enemy from tank grab and your done :)
for some reason tank wont spawn at the location and elite forces wont come after me with that tank

there are also pants called Scrounger pants you can get them from Juans arms dealers

Theirs a piece of an outfit that automatically repairs vehicles you're in. I'd recommend equipping it to reduce the chance of losing the tank.
Edit: the outfit I'm talking about is the scrounger jeans.

Yeah, I thought I was gonna get the tank that’s deep inside the area, and find some janky way out, almost made it too, hot past all the barricades and unbreakable obstacles- but couldn’t find a way to get it out back outside the walls.
That’s when I looked here and saw this. Ran out to the roundabout, killed a couple soldiers, shot down a helicopter that was already passing by, and the tank was already rolling up on me lol

I found the elite just driving on the road In the top of the map Same location where you start the game
Easiest method is to take the tank base undetected. There’s a black tank in the building you just need to drive it a few feet to the pickup spot once you take over the base. This base is outside the city to the SW, south of the West Esperanza checkpoint. Just make sure not to alert any guards or they will get in the tank and make the base takeover much harder.
That tank is the petrov b, not the elite tank sadly

i did not have to go thru that, i just waited for the tank near the exit where i left in Castillo's ride to roll thru and then used the emp on to steal and left

Hey, Tenebris! I know this might be a bit late, but I found a way to get an elite tank earlier in the game! Unfortunately, it's through a mission. So if people have already completed it, they'll have to do this method instead, which can take some time if you're still early into the game. Anyway, in the mission Stealing Thunder (the one where you steal a tank for Zenia), the tank you steal is actually an elite tank. So, instead of taking it to Zenia, you can head to the nearest vehicle drop-off. This might be a bit of work, since the mission throws everything at you, but if you do everything right (literally blow up everything) you can get it to the Montero Farm mostly unscathed.

I just found 2 driving by me in the gran permio race I kinda had a high wanted level idk some of them drive by so yeah go in the city and wait if u don’t wanna fight
Did anyone notice you can get it when you find espada says tank go bleow the bridge but if you have epm unlocked you can get it in the😊 hope it helped thats how i got it😊🎉

Hey man, RNG is random number generation, basically just how video games decide certain things like loot and in far cry 6's case, vehicle spawns

Dude awesome i'm stoked to help! If you find the RNG harsh, just reload your autosave to reset it. But in all my testing i only ever needed to reset due to not having shock arrows equipped :D

I play on xbox and I never get the hijack option even after I've used the EMP supremo to disable the tank :(
Supremo seems bugged to me, the EMP grenades and arrows work fine and you have to be standing at the hatch on top of the tank 👍

Just get Wanted in Esperanza and hijack one. Go to nearest pickup point and save it. You can escape from Special Force after hijacking it by leaving it for a while and hide behind cover.

What's the shotgun? It looks like the com.pew.ter but that's unique and a suppressor can't be added.
Its the standard RMS man, but with the commodore 64 skin! Definitely prefer it and the suppressor, that plus trigger discipline and gut wrencher turns it into a real monster of a gun
