This is soooo true. I don't meditate but i have noticed this so many times. The voices that constitute the mental chatter aren't even yours ! They come from "other" people who have influenced you. If you look closely, they even sound like those people !! It's messed up. I never relate this strong with anyone except Osho and J Krishnamurti man ! Two gems ❤️
You need to meditate. Osho will agree and all master have said this.

My mother told me when you turned 18 someone told you that you can do anything you want.
Growing up in a controlling abusive Alcoholic childhood I decided when I was 18 my parents did not know what they were doing so I decided to find my selfmy my own way.
I am 65 now made plenty of mistakes but they are mine not my parents. It has been a life long trial to keep my mother out of my head my mother never approves how I live my life she is 83.
As I watched my stepfather pass on he was so afraid and so much regret and guilt. I realized I am grateful for the decision I made as a 18 year old to find myself with no regrets.
How true!!! Finding my own voice almost seems like a difficult thing for me 😐 Everyone seems to be talking in my head except myself 😋
also throughout my journey, I've noticed I am not even thinking; I am actually talking in my head. Reacting to enviornment.

👌👌👏👏🙏🙌🏻absolutely true! For years I made myself get fooled by others, since I didn’t trust my own opinions, I always thought they know better, and always always failed, fell down and they either left me alone, verbally emotionally abused me, and I left alone w mountains of sufferings, struggles!

My voice is my own and it was there as soon as I could talk as a two year old kid.. My mother and farther both thought you are two years you are not the grown up here., 39 years later my Farther says you still the same 2 year old with the same adult chat.. and said I always made him feel like I was the farther at two years of age.. so my voice is my own..my mind is of my own… 😂 eat, shit, sleep is all we have in common we humans playing roles, as men and women.. and forgetting what it is to be just human., these are my words my soul my view 😅🎉
All these voices are living rent free in my head. It's been quite a long time.
Finding my own voice and listening to my heart has been one of the best things I've done for myself.
Other's projections along with growing up in a cult had quieted my voice and brought in unnecessary guilt, loneliness, sadness, conformity, and loss of identity. In my case, autism amplified the effect, but now I can hear myself again and I love it.
Side note, I found that it also helped with giving up bad habits. By finding myself, I was able to go after the root causes. It goes hand in hand with the video OSHO: Smoking? Drinking? Your Saints are not Human.
You might have upgraded your prison, but it remained just that. You should realize sooner rather than later.
Osho uses words for communication, that is what they are for, all the weight is in what he is talking about, the words are completely without significance, weightless, impotent. Clearly you are oblivious to this fact. What you wrote is completely out of tune with reality.
There is no unnecessary guilt, loneliness, sadness, conformity, loss of identity.
Identity is a fundamental form of intelligence from sub-atomic to conscious on various levels, you can not lose it, you would die instantly. All 4 forms of intelligence are working hand in hand every moment of your life otherwise you would simply collapse. On atomic level, your carbon atoms know they are carbon atoms and they act as carbon atoms, disaster is instant otherwise, same goes for molecules, tissue, organs, ... all the way to subconscious and conscious. If you do not define your identity for your self consciously, it will be defined unconsciously by your own unconscious system, by your surroundings, by others.
Identity is so fundamental there is just no possibility for it's loss in life.
You let others define it for you, maybe, that is something completely different.
Thought is a tool that has nothing to do with knowledge. Thought is just a little blip in the ocean of knowledge. Better ignore thought and concentrate on knowledge.
Thought is good for building desire, communication and other things. For knowledge it's an obstacle more often than not.
Feelings are also tools, they should feed you with knowledge, information. If you feel bad about pissing on a cat it means your perception about pissing on a cat is 'bad'. If you start thinking and believing your thought that pissing on a cat is 'good', the feeling will slowly vanish.
There is no such thing 'Guilt', 'Loneliness', 'Sadness'. These are idiotic ideas, your constructs. You are completely oblivious of the mechanics of the human being.
Wake the fuck up.

In my opinion you have to do dynamic maditation first to get rid of all these voices that can make you go mad.
If one feels completely wiped out by what Master has just stated... Your ego is lost, your attachments are gone...then what am I.?? Then I would say, U are a Golden Thread of the Cosmos...A constant weave of Light...As in " God " is Light and " God " is Love... therefore there is nothing inbetween...As I feel there is no greater religion than this...hah.
