I throw up from the time I wake up to the time I go back to sleep bc fight or flight is stuck on. I have severe PTSD and just want Jesus to completely heal me.

I understand living like this is hell. I have been experiencing this crazy fight and flight thing everyday for over a year, but I trust my savior. Sending prayers for you. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. No matter what you're going through, remember you're in the hands of the creator. One day all this suffering will stop. Jesus heals!

@tiffytoo I am so sorry you have this problem. I am going through something similar to you. Praying is a powerful action that connects us to Jesus and our souls. There are crisis mental health teams that can help. Maybe your doctor can also help. There are some truly relaxing meditations here on UA-cam that can help. Daily Calm and The Mindful Movement are good. Amitripyline can really help with sleep and has a little bit of a slow half-life, which can have a calming affect when you first wake up. If you begin to feel that calm, it can help you to feel that bit more safe. Medication isn't the full picture, I know, but it can help with getting back to that feeling of safety. I hope things are improving for you since you posted your message 🤗

WOW - i would love to phone you just to say thankyou. Do you know - i have been told by doctors that i have a strange disorder becuase i don't blink. i've gone to eye doctors to have dirt cleaned out of my eyeballs . . . i grew up in a 'ummm' dangerous house - so i probably never learned how to blink properly - or rather, shut it off. thankyou so much for this, it would go wonderfully with the breathing and slowing at the 'stop' exercise you have.

VeRRRRY interesting. This is going to be so useful. BTW, science has helped us listen to the body and realise that F or F = FLIGHT (1st) then fight, but a type of fight that is trying to make the aggressor flee, not die. So, the current buzz term is FLight or fight (off) (D Siegle and others)

Hi There, I help people with anxiety using embodiment exercises and this is great! I am wondering, how have you determined that this is one of the fastest ways to get out of F/F? Is this through personal experience or research? Is it faster than taking a few deep breathes or other skills? Thanks for any thoughts on this!

I am in panic all the time and cant sleep or focus, also the top of my stomach area appears to be sending out very uncomfortable 'nervous and anxious' pulsations /messages. Is this my vagus nerve and if so whats the best way to deal with it and to quiet it down? Thanks so much.
