I throw up from the time I wake up to the time I go back to sleep bc fight or flight is stuck on. I have severe PTSD and just want Jesus to completely heal me.
I understand living like this is hell. I have been experiencing this crazy fight and flight thing everyday for over a year, but I trust my savior. Sending prayers for you. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. No matter what you're going through, remember you're in the hands of the creator. One day all this suffering will stop. Jesus heals!
@tiffytoo I am so sorry you have this problem. I am going through something similar to you. Praying is a powerful action that connects us to Jesus and our souls. There are crisis mental health teams that can help. Maybe your doctor can also help. There are some truly relaxing meditations here on UA-cam that can help. Daily Calm and The Mindful Movement are good. Amitripyline can really help with sleep and has a little bit of a slow half-life, which can have a calming affect when you first wake up. If you begin to feel that calm, it can help you to feel that bit more safe. Medication isn't the full picture, I know, but it can help with getting back to that feeling of safety. I hope things are improving for you since you posted your message 🤗
Idk if you are feeling better but the human garage free 28 day reset is amazing to heal PTSD.
I love how short your videos are! My ADHD brain can't stay focused long enough to do longer ones. Very helpful tips!
So glad you loved it 💚
I have been incredibly irritable all day. Anything and everything has made me feel stabby. Thank you for this which has actually been helpful.
Sara Beth Mattis, that is beautiful to read! thank you so much for taking the time to share :)

hooray and you're welcome! A little can go a long way :)
best wishes to you, Anthony Junior!
again... just amazing.. thanks a lot🤩
Wonderful, practical, gentle technique. I noticed I began pairing slow breaths with the opening and closing. Definitely a keeper.
Cheryl, we appreciate your kindness! Happy to hear the exercise was beneficial to you 💚
Thank you so much 😭
Boy this is something that might actually help you think a little. When being assaulted, believe me there is NO time to even think about what breathing you're going to do. It's all over! This though, is easy, and can be done. Thanks.
I’m so very sorry that happened to you!
Girl! You help me so much!!! Thanks for your kindness 👏
Thank you for the kind words. Your support means a lot!
You are so welcome!
WOW - i would love to phone you just to say thankyou. Do you know - i have been told by doctors that i have a strange disorder becuase i don't blink. i've gone to eye doctors to have dirt cleaned out of my eyeballs . . . i grew up in a 'ummm' dangerous house - so i probably never learned how to blink properly - or rather, shut it off. thankyou so much for this, it would go wonderfully with the breathing and slowing at the 'stop' exercise you have.
This absolutely worked
Yay, love hearing this. Way to go, Kay Kay!
You are amazing! Im learning so much things that actually work from your videos!
We appreciate the kind words! Happy to help
💚
Same
Brilliant. Any action that your body does when its calm will trigger calm.
#truth
Like begets like.
I also find it hopeful that we can develop skills to trigger actions that elicit calm. We have a lot more power with the body and our nervous system than we’ve been led to believe. 💥🌻🙏🏼🥷
This was super helpful !
Thank you !!
Yay I’m glad to hear it! 🥳😇
VeRRRRY interesting. This is going to be so useful. BTW, science has helped us listen to the body and realise that F or F = FLIGHT (1st) then fight, but a type of fight that is trying to make the aggressor flee, not die. So, the current buzz term is FLight or fight (off) (D Siegle and others)
You have such a wonderful voice I found listening to you was soothing my nervous system thank u for making videos
wtf
"soothing my nervous system"
Awesome
Thank You for this 💜
You're welcome 😊
Lovely!😮💨 phew! 😮💨Thank you! 🫶🏻Subscribed! 😮💨

You are so welcome! Thank you for the support
I think this will help a lot of people to prepare for a difficult conversation and avoid fight or flight refluxes thus mastering their inner game - thank you
VT this is an amazing contribution from you, thank you. You’re inspiring me to make a video on how to prepare for a difficult conversation 🙏🏼
That struggle is real!
@@nervoussystemninja This is at the heart of taking your work to the next level and help us with our inner game and to stop reluctance and avoid the elephant in the room. Thank you so much for considering my comment and saying that it’s inspired you🙏🏻
Awesome!
Thanks!
Blink about it for a second 🤣
Thankyou 🖤
You are most welcome 🙏🏼😊
I've missed your videos 😇

I love that hedgehog
Wow.. it does work.. how come it is not widely known.
Thanks for doing God's work.
Wow… @Slut Magic.. Thank you. That is high praise and I appreciate you saying that 😇
i love that hedgehog
Hi There, I help people with anxiety using embodiment exercises and this is great! I am wondering, how have you determined that this is one of the fastest ways to get out of F/F? Is this through personal experience or research? Is it faster than taking a few deep breathes or other skills? Thanks for any thoughts on this!
I have PTSD and this is very informative
Jordan, happy to hear this exercise was helpful! PTSD can be so hard. If you ever want to tailor Dr. Renee's mind-body relationship therapy to your life specifically, feel free to book a free consult here (greentreemind.com/contact/#schedule-appt). Sending you positivity on your healing journey 💚
This felt relaxing but it made me a bit dizzy for some reason.
Love your hair. Very French!
solid 🙃
Yes, this works. I was stuck in fight mode, and was looking for a way out. This helped. Thank you. 🙏🏾 What do you use for freeze mode?
Deborah, thank you for the comment! I just made a new video, inspired by your request… stay tuned it should come out this week 😊
Thank You!🙏🏾
I have bpd so I'm going to try this I have meltdowns and black out from adrenaline everyday like a pissed off little kid but I'm 25...
Please do u have something for right facial muscles which don’t relax causing nerve compression and referred pain
Hi I get really itchy when I’m very anxious, it’s starting to get really bad. The slow blinking does help a bit but is there anything I can do along side this?
I took your advice, I did this on the highway and end up in the hospital and my car is total thanks.
Hey Snow Anzi, no disrespect intended here, but I’m not willing to take responsibility for your choices. I’m quite certain you’re being facetious anyhow! 😃
How many times do you do this a day
But when Im at a machine at work and the parts will back up and the machine will crash if I even stop to take a drink of water, how do I keep from spiraling? I literally cannot take 20 seconds to slow blink. Any other techniques?
Hi! So I’ve been experiencing this for a month, I am pretty and I get compliments very often and I used to love the way I look, until I heard subliminals for 2 days and I started receiving these negative emotions and stuff please guide me
Hi Renee, I have some worldly financial problems at the moment that are feaking me out big time. I am in panic all the time and cant sleep or focus, also the top of my stomach area appears to be sending out very uncomfortable 'nervous and anxious' pulsations /messages. Is this my vagus nerve and if so whats the best way to deal with it and to quiet it down? Thanks so much.
May the holy spirit send you healing
Yo guys how long does it take
I need things long lasting like fight or flight.
Do have an abdoman release, mine is out full time when I rise from bed..
Cindy Mulvey, I'd be glad to but I'm not sure I fully understand your request. What is "out full time when you rise from bed"? And can you say more about what you mean when you say that you "need things long lasting like fight or flight"?
Your beautiful smile makes it a bit hard to concentrate. ...just a G-rated complment to start your day. Be well. :)
When I get really nervous I blink incredibly fast, so hopefully this will help. My muscles also tense up, my heart rate goes up and I will talk really fast and even stutter with some words. It mainly affects me on the tennis court when I try to serve and I'm afraid of missing. I was just thinking I need a circuit breaker or reset switch to get out of this mode
Circuit breaker and reset buttons are available within you! Keep us posted, we love hearing celebrations and wins, and would love to hear more from you😍🤩🥳
That's good to know! Do you have any additional tips of what I can try? It is so frustrating when these things happen@@nervoussystemninja
that stopped my heart from racing
Kyndleske, that’s awesome! Thanks for sharing ☺️
Fantastic! ❤
Glad you like it! :)
The best way to get rid of your flight or fight response, is destroying starved
