Going parallel for dumbbell bench press might be why you injured the shoulder, I’d move it into the 45 degree slot
Have seen a few heads discussing this (Jeff Cavliere, Dr Mike etc) if you’re suffering with shoulders to tuck the elbows a tad following traditional bar path until the stretched position on the bench 💯
