Thank you for this review. I just bought her from Ollie's for dirt cheap, and I searched a review for her just to find out if her goggles were removable. You answered that question!
Also, I'm really disappointed that none of the big toy channels I subscribe to have reviewed her. That's kind of disappointing, so I truly appreciate you taking the time to cover her.

I absolutely love the face sculpt and paint app on this figure!! There is a lot going on with her outfit but overall I really like this figure, and as you said, need to have her to finish the Beckett crew. Great review Mike, keep em coming :)

ok I don’t know if anyone mentioned this in the comments already, but her rifle carbine blaster thingy isn’t named in universe, but it’s based off of a Russian gun called the AS Val. Yes. Val has a Val. I really hope that was intentional, because that’s a fun fact for gun nerds.

Im not crazy about her character in movie but that face sculpt and everything else looks like they have upped their game. Great fig.
that's fair! I'm glad people can look past not liking a character to appreciate a good toy.
Speaking of adding the flocking on her coat, Hasbro should have definitely done it on the new Black Panther BAF M'baku would have been so much better...great review!
Have they done flocking on any marvel legends figure?
@@MikeKaess no that's what I mean Hasbro could try it and step up their game at least on him, he would have been a great test subject...they do it w/Black Series why not ML.

Excellent review as always! I actually saw a Val with the same leg issue yours had, except the entire foot had broken off in package! Really turned me off from her figure, although she does look really good
Wow! I didn’t notice until I was doing the pictures for this review that my correct Val has blemishes all over her face! So today I went out and bought another. I’m on Val number 3!

The bands on her upper arms rotate all around so that if you want more dynamic poses, you can twist them so that the red hoses the bands are connected to can likewise move freely. Articulation is awesome! 1 point
The red hoses are heating tubes and that's really it. To keep her whole body warm. They even go under her gloves, so they keep her fingers warm. Being a sharpshooter that has to come in handy. The red rope on her hip is for her grappling, since she's an adept climber; again for sniping in high places.
I was mostly teasing about the hoses and hooks, but thank you! And as for the articulation, I wasn’t docking it because of the lack of it, but because of the fragility in the hoses.
Sure you can swivel the bands, but you have to be extra careful when posing this figure or a hose could easily snap. I had a hose on L3 snap already because of my carelessness. If anything though, I would raise the want/need up another quarter of a point. I think 3.75 is a better rating for this figure. 4 at the highest.

With Marvel Legends and me having.... HAVING to get all the bounty hunters with the re-release of Fett and Bosk... my wallet will not allow for the Solo movie purchases at this time... but one day I might eventually get them all. The sculpted goggles makes me sad to hear considering Hera had sculpted on goggles when I wish we had gotten actual removable goggles. Great review Mike and I do have to say, wearing the same shirts for multiple reviews does take me out of the immersion that is your youtube channel... and for that, I am sadface.
