After 5 years in a PH in southern Ontario, we can vouch for the accuracy of your video. The closest we find to an overheating situation is March and September when the ambient temperatures are highest and the sun angle is low enough that sunlight penetrates living spaces.

One of the many great things about passive house…it is an international standard, adaptable to any climate zone…
We have experience with designs/projects in southeastern United States where the wall thickness can be reduced to 13.5 inch, Roof system reduced to 18”,
