Hey, thanks for playing the cancelled Demo 2! It took a bit of effort to get this released rather than gathering dust on Fanimator's hard drive until the end of time. There's a couple of cool easter eggs you might have missed while playing, like interacting with the unusually shaped cactus and the alternate Destox music that plays in Geno (There were two genuinely good songs composed for the area, so I found a way to implement both.) I'd love to make a reboot of this AU at some point. Even though I've been thinking about other AUs, this one meant a lot to me for the collaboration with Fanimator alone, and I wish we were able to polish this into a genuinely great experience. The new version of Melisa is dope as hell conceptually, sprite-wise and even has an actual backstory now.

@@r2botar439 Not really much of a easter egg, is it? Dying instantly without warning's no fun. This version of Melisa will likely also not be very easily killed, resulting in Scenarios playing out differently than they normally would.
I got a really cool easter egg so if you buy enough hot dogs at the hotdog stand Papyrus will say: Ran out Of Hot dogs Do you take just dogs? Or something like this and when you buy it you get an annyoing dog witch will be on your head for the rest of the game unless you trhow the item out
I love how in horrorswap the situiation is completely unfixable. If in horrortale, monsters COULD try to fix the core again and try to focus all the magic to make it work, then here it would have no use. I mean there's only like 1-2 monsters left in the underground that can defend the brain from bugs But one of them surely doesnt want to do that. Besides, like Paps said it can't damage em but hold them so eventually they'll get immunity or anything else.
To be honest, this looks more like SwapHorror than HorrorSwap. Just... There's not much of a horror here. Only toxic Mountain dew and an OK concept. The only thing that looks pretty good here is Papyrus's hug.

@@axosotll we don't know much about the creator look at the au, maybe it mixes character and alphys is more close to her classic IQ and they have better situation with food so they're don't come to cannibalism on daily basis and more mentally sane or smth like that, or it's just horrorswap papyrus not so unpredictable as horror! Sans for example he doesn't kill you at hot dog scene or he is just some kind of psychopath that gave player actually dogs made from humans and then having fun by just realising the fact that sooner or later chara will realise they ate human and Wil be shocked Edit: yep my first theory was almost right they just have better situation with food,yet skelebros prefer turning into man eater or he is just trying to scare the crap out of human

Любимая Папируса (оригинал) это не спагетти, любимая еда Санса не тако. Действия происходят в противоположных погодных условиях, Андертейл - снег (± =вода), а тут песок и отсутствие воды. И кстати похоже Напстаттон не дожил, хотя возможно тут также как в Андертейл, просто ещё один корпус робота, но без призрака. Папирус получил травму глаза, который не был магическим (это можно понять по струе крови из глаза который погас), поэтому можно считать, что этот Папирус не может быть слабее. Множество спрайтов для различных реакций во время диалога, а не просто стоящие на месте с каменным лицом которое меняется в основном только на диалоговых окнах. У Санса нет бластеров, но используется водный пистолет, который заполнен токсичной водой. Примеры проработанности можно перечеслять и дальше, но мне слегка лень. Короче говоря, я ставлю этой фан игре 8.95/10.
Вот ещё детали которые я заметил: в этой ау характеры миксуются, папирус сохранил относительную дружелюбность по отношению к человеку, но при этом все тот же нигилист апатичен как хоррор да и поскольку по его словам они гораздо реже прибегают к людоедству он наверняка просто потерял смысл жизни окончательно. Санс все так же агрессивен по отношению к человеку как и оригинальный хоррор и ему все также сильно хочется кушац но при этом он сохраняет хоррор папирусовский садизм. Монстры в сантауне не похоже что очень хорошо настроенны по отношению к папирусу возможно потому что он в хороших отношениях с альфис ведь он сам говорит что он не против её. Тэмми на самом деле всё ещё злодеи и судя по около индустриальному положению королевства альфис сохранила часть IQ своей оригинальной версии и пытается создать боевую машину из подземелья
I Don't really like the fact you play as Chara in this because in Horrortale there is a new Human which is Aliza so there would have to be another new Human for Aliza to be swapped with instead of an already existing one because that just makes sense or Aliza isn't swapped but her personality is different or something like she isn't as timid
It wouldn’t be called horrorswap it would rather be called swaphorror let’s think about it if you say Horror Pap has crooked teeth in small eyes so if you swap it underswap Pap would have small eyes and crooked teeth well under swap sans bloody eye and a crack in the skull
I think this au taking for basis that type of underswap that mixes characters characters (lmao) and changes characters relationship , papyrus is seems to remain his classicself friendlies and helpfulness but at the same time remains horror sans aphaty and nihilism and his indiferent as if speaking for itself "man I'm tired of all this bullshit " face expression and since they have better situation with food and he (usually) doesn't have to hunt humans he completely lossed any point of existence and his brother remains horrortale sans unpredictablebess and a little of Hunger rage and aggressive at human but at the same time remains horrortale papyrus creppy childish play and his will to have as much fun with human as possible before killing him most brutal way possible, talking about characters relationship change, papyrus is in a good relationship with alphys it's more like sans and undyne relationship not long before eye ripp off he doesn't really support her but he believes it's better that anarchy, and because of that people of suntown doesn't like him and doesn't take him as local hero and symbol of resistance so he has to keep them scared so they won't treat his brother. Temmie is kinda sus counting what papyrus said about them and by their even more crazy talk that usual. It's not just goffy 5yr old kid talk anymore it's straight up fucking nuts person talk
