Funny thing, I find the secret bosses very similar to Chara. All of them are isolated and “free,” and Spamton even makes deals with you and tells you “5 left” and such. Jevil knows life is a numbers game, Chara refers to themselves as the embodiment of stats. Spamton shows us what it’s like to be abandoned, perhaps gives us insight into the things that could make someone so misanthropic. Chara is honestly the most Deltarune-y thing in undertale.

ill say, this characterization of chara is most in line with how i see them. some make chara too evil, or believe they are 100% good with no mistakes. this one is one that had lots of hate, but learned to love, then had it stripped away from them by frisk. that’d make anyone go crazy in some way
I like this too. But I love how the game makes sure to blame the player. Like making you deal with the consequences.

Still, I’d personally give at least half a minute of fast gameplay for the player before showing flashing images.
(I’d determine “fast gameplay” being the game being played as fast as possible.)

What I love most about this Fan made fight is that you actually don't win. You are not the one in control. You have already given too much souls and Power to Chara by all the Genocides you did. All the Monsters you killed. Great game

I haven't beaten the fight or watched the whole video yet, so I don't know if the ending is well-written or makes sense thematically (I really really hope you don't just get to kill chara and get a happy ending, that'd be silly), but having made it to the spinning knife attack (16:15) I can say that in terms of gameplay, this is probably the most fun I've had with the undertale mechanics at all, even funner than sans or undyne. Also the most challenging. And, from my brief attempt at sparing Chara.... I probably haven't even hit the hardest part yet lol. Very good game, just wish that they had done a few grammar/spelling checks. :)

I mean chara erased the whole game itself without any commands or anything from frisk. Even if Frisk did mess with the games files no matter what chara is still going to end the genocide route the same way.

My biggest complaint here is that if Chara could've oneshot us like that in the end, what was the point of the fight? What was the point of them having a battle if Chara could just kill Frisk at any time he so pleased? It just doesn't make much sense for Chara to fight "fairly" up until he's nearly dead, and then pull out the one-hit attack he could've used since the very beginning.
To make the player *suffer*, since they *know* we will come back if we die, so they want to make this as painful as humanly possible.
That or they are pissed that we done killed there family so they want to beat to shit out of us before killing us

Megalo Strike Back: This one is the easiest to explain. It's what the fandom has decided on as Chara's theme + they are a megalomaniac in genocide
Megalovania: Unsurprisingly, you are one as well, which is why this is used
STHMPWYFS: This is confusing, and the only thing is can think of is that it's not used in normal gameplay. Like how Chara is never actually seen in other runs (expect maybe soulless pacifist)
One Upon a Time: The title screen. Similar to Asriel, Chara serves as a "final boss" of some sort in this canon. This leitmotif is also used in the track 'Undertale' which plays when the game tells the story of the two.

Like, seriously. I don't get why they are there.
All the motifs in the music kinda make it seem like even though you're both murderous psychopaths, all the lives you took are still fighting against what they think is the greater evil. While one side of you is trying to atone for your actions and all the people's lives you stole, the other half is corrupted and is fighting to overtake what little humanity is left.
