DMs sound has suffered considerably since the departure of the great Alan Wilder. The only decent sounding album post Alan was Ultra. Everything after that with the exception of the new album Momento Mori and a few songs like Precious, Ghosts, Home, it’s no good are DM. Everything else is 👎I’m sorry to say that but the truth is the truth. Having said that, the show was really good and they played all the hits so it was worth going for that reason. It’s basically the David and Martin show now. The spectacular, amazing shows we witnessed between 1986 and 1994 will never, ever be repeated.
I was there last night with my kids. The whole energy of the concert was amazing from start to finish. Everyone was standing and dancing and singing.
