Everyone, including myself as a heat fan, underestimated the impact of the existing players on the roster improving. We all know the heat can turn any undrafted player into a competent contributor but one thing missing from last year’s finals was a star player who could stretch the floor. Additionally bam was not developed enough offensively + missing herro. We hoped dame would fix that but what happened was better. Bam became more comfortable with the ball and became a better skilled shooter, Jimmy improved from 3, herro upped his game, and Jaime turned out to be a great pick. Down the stretch, the Rozier trade will be a huge plus because having a guy that can get a bucket is massive in the playoffs. When the pressure is at its highest, you can’t just rely on Caleb Martin and Haywood highsmith hitting open 3s. Someone needs to give those guys confidence by getting a tuff basket
I was at this game you're showing in this video! Blazers are so bad, game tickets are dirt cheap, literally a buck a pop if you're behind the baskets in the nosebleeds, $3-$6 a pop if you're sat along the side of the court in the nosebleeds. Only $15-$30 a pop for some upper club level (200) seats. Crazy cool. Blazers actually played way better than I expected. We lead most of the game until the 4th when as always, we partially imploded. Ant did NOT help there as usual, being painfully streaky offensively, and absolutely giving zero effort defensively. Toumani and Ashton Hagans absolutely carried us in that game. And man were there too many Heat fans in the RG haha.
The fan base always complains when we lose games but it’s because spoelstra plays multiple rosters and lineups to kind of test them and make sure everyone gets playing time. To ensure a roster that is ready to step up when needed
The C's, Nuggets and maybe the Wolves because of size, but for some reason, if you watch them they matchup well with most teams. It's the teams with size that kill them.
These guys are so frustratingly consistent. Even though the Rozier trade hasn't paid off yet, I do think he'll have a few games where he cooks in the post-season like in his celtics days.
Duncan and Hero are still the x factor in the heat getting over the hill. Their consistency is what will make or break them. Bam has shown he will show up. Jaquez seems to be a force of nature and Jimmy is going to Jimmy.
The heat have been 1 guy away since 2020 and pat Riley thinks that they can just "out tough" their way to a championship like it's 2004. Their problem is they score 100 a game and they don't have a designated guy day in and day out. Jimmy only tries for about 30 games in the regular season and waits until the playoffs to really care.
i’m a heat fan and why would they not care about the regular season? i think they do, it’s not because they’re not winning every game that they don’t care
Why are they even surprised anymore we just get a game closer every year no matter how down bad ppl claim the heat are. We have a great head office and staff and coaches. We have great if not the best training and coaching. We develop players and make them dangerous role players . Ppl no one wanted or didnt rank. We got that dog in us and we're disciplined. Win or lose you dont go to miami unless u want to compete. If your not that type of player u will get traded or moved. Jimmy pulled a mj other play offs only player to average 40 since the great mj himself. We love jimmy any team is lucky to have them. Our core jus needs to develop more still young. But we can even pull it off now hell we could of done it any of these years.
celtics are untouchable in the east this year. with holiday and porzingas added they’re beyond stacked. everyone else is just competing for second place.
As a Heat fan, the real bottomline is they can play well which they're doing now (won 5 straight and won 8 of 10) Miami needs a true Center. I love Bam, but he fits the Power Forward role than a Center, in Miami's two Finals appearance, they got manhandled due to size (Lakers with Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard and Andre Drummond, and the Nuggets with Nikola Jokic and Aaron Gordan). I have a very good feeling that Spoelstra doesn't trust tall Centers cause of Hassan Whiteside, imagine if Whiteside actually kept his mind straight, Miami would've won those Finals games. Lakers? Most definitely, cause they took the Lakers to six without Goran Dragic who was their second best scorer on the team and the Heat got bodied in the paint by the Lakers. Nuggets? Its 50/50, the Heat held the Nuggets to low offensive scoring in the Finals and Bam did his best guarding Jokic and Jokic still made those tough shots. If only Spoelstra would would change that gameplan, Miami would legit win.
Spo doesn't base his offense around a Center. Spo literally changed the gane to what we see now with his "Positionless" basketball view. Bosh wasn't a center either....Also, Whiteside didn't fit tje bill as he had no lateral movement. Bam.can bang with the best of them....Also, in 2020 Finals Heat were without Dragic and Bam. The letter got hurt in game 1 and didn't return until game 5 if im.not mistaken. Last year had nothing to do with Size....Miami couldn't hit shots. In fact, check the numbers from last year finals. Miami actually had a + point differential while Bam was on the floor. Denver went on their runs when he was on tje bench.... The Heat entire defense is centered around Bam and his ability to literally guard all 5 positions. A center clogging the lame wo t help much with how Miami runs their offense. Remember Bosh wasn't a center either.
lol KP and Jrue added to the roster and Celtics bolstered their bench? I will absolutely be more than happy if the Heat played us. It’s not even close..

The Celtics probably would have won if JT didn’t high sprain his ankle and JB didn’t just fold under pressure. The Heat gotta stop getting some credit, talented team but we’re bottom in the league shooting 3s last season and then all of a sudden start shooting like the best team in the NBA. I will be absolutely shocked if they make it to ECF.

Every time Patrick Mahomes won the Super Bowl the Miami heat has been in the finals.
Well then we’ll just have to give Miami a ring LOL!
Imagine if we got Dame 😭

The heat have a Celtics problem as well
Jimmy Butler also transforms into Playoff Jimmy. That's a trademark move. Some say Jamal Murray inherited this skill.
Theyre named the "Heat". They can catch fire at any time
i’m a heat fan and why would they not care about the regular season? i think they do, it’s not because they’re not winning every game that they don’t care
Bro forgot the knicks
It’s simple: it’s completely different playing a series than playing a game. Regular season favors one dimensional teams.
6:56 Heat played Knicks last year in the 2nd round
Crazy how the heat got 0 HOF, 1-3 all stars, and they are still able to be at the nba finals
Apparently the NBA has a problem with every team lately 🤦😂
Heat also lacked a facilator without Lowry.
I would not be surprised to see the heat in the finals again, I really don’t trust any other eastern team, including the Celtics
Keep dreaming you fool
The heat really dont start playing till March when that Miami Heat starts to Kick in🥵
And again, Spoelstra not winning any coach of the year needs to be investigate
Well I’m here to also bring up guys like highsmith Martin Richardson they anchor this defense!
Heat are the only nba team I never worry about
Don’t forget bout k love. He’s had some great games this season
end of the day it all comes down to herro' being healthy lol
celtics are untouchable in the east this year. with holiday and porzingas added they’re beyond stacked. everyone else is just competing for second place.
yall say this every year
As a Heat fan, the real bottomline is they can play well which they're doing now (won 5 straight and won 8 of 10) Miami needs a true Center.
Heat culture 🔥
I thought Embid is out for the season
lol KP and Jrue added to the roster and Celtics bolstered their bench? I will absolutely be more than happy if the Heat played us. It’s not even close..
It’s “never close” on paper when the heat and Celtics matchup yet Miami was won more times than not recently
@@alexescutia4805 nah man the heat hit and incredible stretch in the post season and we’re absolutely gassed in the finals… wasn’t close or fun to watch. Not saying that don’t grit and aren’t talent because obviously they are. This isn’t the same Celtics, they’re 46-12 and have swept the heat this season.
@alexescutia4805 bruhh miami is 2-2 vs the Celtics in the playoffs. Meat riding
@@silasliot4644 After the Allstar break last season, they were one of the best 3 point shooting teams. As Spo' corrected some press about.
They time after time w a subpar roster show you how to get it done lmao.
Miami Heat 🏀🔥
Every single basketball youtube channel has dropped some version of this video since the all star break. Maybe they're not that slept on
No hate, I'm a Heat Fan and a fan of the channel so I love hearing about my team. But if everyone thinks they're underrated, then they're just rated
“The NBA has a pistons problem”
Duncan have to start whatever the situation is
Miami Heat is a great team but are to small to win it all. They need more size.
💪
I honestly wish the celtics would use their strategy of not giving it their full effort in the regular season, then turning it up in the playoffs. Cuz the celtics are clearly more tired come playoff time. I don't care about them getting a top 3 record....I want the title. Use your bench! Every damn game the starters play 40+ minutes and I don't feel it's too smart, and Miami shows this every damn year. Partially by knocking us out every other matchup
Heat don't waste too much time in the regular season. It's always the rest of the league who is surprised. Us heat fans are never surprised lol
If you want to actually pronounce Jaime’s name right just say it like Hi Meh
Hi Meh Ha Kez
As a Celtics fan I would love to face the Heat first. Good way to start the post season. Quell our demons right away and set things right. If we lose then we never deserved a chip in the first place.
Let's Go Heat 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Aint nobody worried about the heat man
Said that last year and they made the finals the heat is showing you don't take them lightly
the heat are winning the same number of rings this season as the wizards
You gotta admit the heat has an incredible team
Idk if their better suited for playoffs this year because last year heat had injuries to like 3 key players and still did incredible, if I remember hero was out, olidipo, and Caleb Martin I think
It was just Herro and Oladipo. Caleb tore up Boston that series
Jimmy also played on a bum ankle from about midway through the east semis into the finals after josh hart pulled that stupid baseball slide and messed up his ankle@@weswith360s
Butler got hurt in the Knicks series and wasn’t the same after
Birdman would be perfect for this Heat team
The Heat are like the spurs with Duncan and crew. They were just expected to be in the playoffs every year whether they were good or not
Is there an inside joke going on between NBA youtubers where everyone titles their videos "The NBA has a _____ Problem" because I swear the past month I been seeing all these titles for different videos
I keep seeing this too lol. Last one I saw was a Wembanyama problem
It’s probably a very searchable title
@@fortynights1513 i get it's for the algorithm but still I think it's so funny and odd lmao
To say Jamie isn’t a creator then go on to name the things he does to create is wild lol 😅
The Heat are only getting better and healthier. Celtics are the only challenge and even then there’s always a chance
I’m more concerned of an healthy Knicks than Celtics or bucks.
