Haven't watched it yet. So if its good its good, if its useful its useful and if its full of jokes its full of jokes.
Thank you for being in the chat :)
For one of your next amusement parks you should create a boardwalk/pier park, Focusing on water rides, compact coasters and tons of theming. Weather it be tropical, pirate ect......
Cant wait to see the vid!
Thanks for the idea :)
I have always wanted to play planet coaster. Never bought. Decided to check the steam page of the game because this video. And turns out there was a massive sale. So thanks to this video im now a planet coasterer!
That's amazing!
I’ve been playing this game for a few days now. I’ve been struggling in sandbox mode to keep multiple mechanics running smoothly, after watching this I can definitely see improvements in the future!! 🙌🙌🙌
Thanks, so glad it can help :)
Im sobbing bc the dlc parts are so good but the normal ones are bad and i have no dlcs 😭😭
The in game stuff isn't bad. The DLCs are sometimes on sale or are cheaper through my sponsor :)
the dlc ones seem to have more details already and i kinda suck at detailing, also it has 2 coaster types i really want@@CorvusCoasters
Awesome video. Having advice and tips from some of the best creators out there is invaluable. Thank you so much Corvus, Michael and Yann! ✌️
Thank you so much for watching:)
Everyone says go for realism, I disagree. I go for fun. I play this game to have fun. As long as I'm having fun, who cares what the park looks like. 😊
It's just what everyone prefers to make, I prefer realism because it's grounded and accurate to what can be made in real life. But you make whatever you like and makes you happy, that's what's great about this game :)
usin this to design a Lego park instead of a Planet Coaster Park:)
My PC can barely handle parks properly, while they are extremely fun and functional to visit, start editing and my freeze frames get extremely obnoxious haha
Yeah Planet Coaster isn't the best optimised, but it's a fun game :)
I’d love to try and recreate the Jurassic park section of universal studios Orlando and just add some more rides and stuff to it
The jungle theme is always fun :)
@@CorvusCoasters I just started playing a few days ago I have no idea what I’m doing lol you’re videos have been really helpful tho ♥️
Can’t wait to see what this video has in store!
It's a great video, an awesome Collab :)
What’s the name of the park that you used as an example of a small park?
They were all my parks I've made on the channel. I think you mean Peak Park :)
@@CorvusCoastersI think he’s talking about Adventure West
I’m trying to build a park in South Africa around a small lake which opened in 1990. I’ve already built an entrance, 2 small Main Street buildings, and a GCI woodie. The one problem is that I forgot to build a parking lot/car park.
I've built one in my latest series, Wonder World. That may help :)
This is fantastic!
What PC do you use for smooth, clean performance, especially building a mega park?
This park was on console but my pc specs are on my community tab somewhere I can't remember them off the top of my head :)
Thanks, also do you recommend me making coasters rough(like arrow loopers or old wooden coasters)
You can use older style transitions but smoothing coasters is always best :)
great vid guys, a great way to intro the game design to new comers and existing
Thank you so much :)
How did you hit your oswald counter limit
I only have one a few parks, it's just by building loads of stuff :)
i’ve attempted a park once but i just didn’t have the commitment to actually make it a park
Just takes practice :)
Amazing and helpful video, though the main thing I learned is that I think I could listen to Yann talk for hours 🤣
Such a soothing voice and I agree he can keep you entertained for hours 🤣🤣
i freaking love this game and have since it first came out im so happy so many people still play it!
It's amazing :)
What are the wooden fences you use in queues and the metal fences for the green floorless
The wooden fences are base game I think and the metal fences are studio pack ones :)
Excited for this one, wanted to make a park myself but didn't know where to start
This will help hopefully:)
*DISCLAIMER* Long post ahead.
I think this is an amazing video. Great job all 3 of you who put this together. I truly think these realism park designs are more for the advanced or pro planet coaster designers/players. I have been to I think 2 or 3 theme parks in my lifetime, and haven't been to one in well over a decade (due to a disability/medical reasons). So for me personally, trying to design a theme park is difficult. There is a thing known as, "analysis paralysis," and it's something I struggle with.
I know the general theme or themes I want for my parks, but it's the layout, flow, placement of rides, coasters, buildings, facilities, to even building a custom coaster, that I struggle with. I think I have built maybe 2 or 3 custom coasters and to be honest they are kind of just meh in my opinion. I have an idea in mind, but when I build it I run into issues with fear and nausea ratings. I have gone to the frontier workshop to get ideas from others' parks as to what I would like to include in my own, but do not want to copy exactly what they did.
I also struggle with pathing, which I think is a known issue amongst the community. Making a plaza which is super common in most theme parks is difficult because they don't allow you to freely shade in or fill out the gaps almost as if using a painting tool. So for me, I don't know whether to go with the 10 m or 4 m pathing tool to try to make a plaza as accurate as possible. I also watched another UA-camr who talked about the Ozwald percentage and how pathing takes up a huge part of it. This makes planning a park even more challenging.
Also, you have to consider someone's creativity. I would like to think I have a somewhat creative mind, but when I look at other people's parks, it makes me realize that I don't have as much of a creative mind as I thought. I have subscribed to all 3 channels of everyone in this video who contributed and have learned from each person. Thank you all that you do for the community as it really helps.
I'm so glad it helped, thanks for all the kind words. I still struggle with all of those, it's primarily practice that will make you better because you need to know what doesn't work to find out what does. I'm sure you'll create great things :)
@@CorvusCoasters Yes I will by watching everyone's videos and practice practice practice. Hopefully someday I'll upload a good park to the workshop. Thanks again!!
How do you not have more subs?? This video was so well made!!
Thank you :)
I would love to see builds by u which were on PC. Because I think the console version is really restricting for ur creations
I have a pc now, park series starting next month :)
Good job guys
Thanks, really happy with it :)
MOM I’M ON TV
Mom he’s on TV
Yeah !
Thanks so much I’ve been struggling a lot hopefully this helps! Thanks again!
Thanks, glad it helps :)
@@CorvusCoasters I’m sure it will! I just subscribed! Thanks a lot
Idk what mods to get to build it
This video was made when I was on console with no mods. But now I'm on pc, my mods are in my newer video's descriptions :)
@@CorvusCoasters Thx
I just subbed
Thanks 👍
You’re not gonna want to miss that one, Corvus has prepared you a good video, we’re eating good !!!
It's better because Yanns in it :)
@@CorvusCoasters and even better cause Michael’s in it too !
Yeah !
Whats ur console workshop name
Corvus :)
@@CorvusCoasters still can’t find
Just search for Peak Park
@@CorvusCoasters yeah thanks still haven’t found it my games slow lol
Rmc or intamin
My favourite Costa is an RMC but Intamin are my favourite manufacturer :)
Overall RMC have the better ride (steel vengeance) but intamin have so much better consistency and they have rides almost everywhere (skyrush, taron, maverick). So I would say Intamin
Intamin
You console players are a bit late to the game. Us PC players have had the game for over 6 years now, longer for the beta players. You guys have the benefit of learning from us and rehashing it all. Let's all be honest, this game is better on PC. It's all good though, you guys are able to build some nice looking parks despite being on console.
I think the pc game is better but I still prefer the controller controls 😂
@@CorvusCoasters Frontier developed an xbox controller scheme for the PC game. I would imagine you can't build as big of a park on console as you could on PC, at what point the the PS4 or PS5 bog down?
way to gatekeep the game for 0 reason man
@@nugzyyy was about to say the exact same thing
It gives the game to a wider audience so it's a great thing. The pc has awful controller support also, it's just for camera movements and not building which I shame because I find it might more intuitive:)
Cool video guys.
Thank you :)
